Iran Attack: Little Difference Between Democrats & Republicans

Trump’s ignorance, and the MAGA insistence the president is a geopolitical grandmaster, pose a significant danger.

The former Speaker of the House and Trump toady, Newt Gingrich, went on Fox Business on April 20 to do what he always does—diss the other side of the uniparty. Host Larry Kudlow, the “bar mitzvah boy” and a former junior financial analyst at the New York Federal Reserve, began his interview with Gingrich by insisting the Democrat faction is “trying to stop the overwhelming and seismic triumph of the United States and Israel” in the undeclared and illegal war against Iran.

Gingrich, forever the partisan, said the Democrat faction is “pro-Iranian,” a remark only an aged MAGA Boomer who spends his retirement watching Fox News would believe. Only a MAGA disciple believes the US-Israel attack is successful, which is contrary to reality.

Biden Assisted Zionist Murder and Destruction

Amos Hochstein, an Israeli-American advisor to President Biden and a former member of the board of the Atlantic Council, admitted during Face the Nation interview on April 19 that he supported Trump’s Operation Midnight Hammer. He added that the administration was preparing for a similar attack if Biden had been re-elected. “We did war games. We did some practice runs on what it would look like to look into it, because that may have had to happen under our watch as well,” he said.

“I’ve directed my team, including the Department of the Treasury, to continue to impose sanctions that further degrade Iran’s military industries,” Biden announced in April, 2024. The president said the sanctions were a response to “one of the largest missile and drone attacks the world has ever seen against Israel.”

Biden did not bother to mention that Iran’s Operation True Promise was a response to the Zionist bombing of the the Iranian embassy complex in Damascus, Syria, on April 1, killing sixteen people, including Syrian civilians and IRGC officers. According to the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of 1961, attacking embassies and diplomatic missions is a breach of international law. “The premises of the mission shall be inviolable,” Article 22 states. Iran and the United States are signatories, while Israel is not.

“Let’s be clear: Israel did not launch this war,” Biden said from the Rose Garden on November 27, 2024, in reference to Israel’s criminal sneak pager attack, the assassination of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, and an intense bombing campaign across Lebanon. Biden later characterized the assassination of Nasrallah as a “measure of justice” in response to a four-decade “reign of terror.” Left unsaid is the fact the “reign of terror” began with the Israeli invasion of Lebanon in 1982. The Zionist IDF occupied southern Lebanon until Hezbollah forced it to leave in 2000.

In October, 2024, Israel again violated Lebanese sovereignty by invading the country. More than 800 people were killed. Human rights organizations declared Israel’s indiscriminate attacks on health facilities, ambulances, and paramedics to be war crimes. Israel bombed civilians in Beirut, terror bombed displaced Lebanese taking shelter, and used white phosphorus in residential areas.

In May, 2024, Biden proclaimed Israel’s illegal attacks and destruction of Gaza did not amount to genocide. On January 31, 2024, a federal judge issued a ruling indicating that Israel was “plausibly” committing genocide in Gaza and implored the Biden administration to examine the impact of its “unflagging” support. A US civil liberties group, the Center for Constitutional Rights, and Al-Haq, a Palestinian human rights group based in the occupied West Bank, filed the lawsuit on behalf of the human rights organization, Defence for Children – Palestine.

Biden rejected a decision by the International Criminal Court to seek arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel’s defense minister Yoav Gallant. “We don’t recognize their jurisdiction … and it’s that simple,” Biden said. He also said there was “no equivalence” between Israel and Hamas and pledged, “We will always stand with Israel against threats to its security.”

Biden approved significant aid and weapons packages for Israel. In April 2024, a $95 billion foreign aid bill was signed, allocating $26 billion specifically for Israel. Additionally, a later planned $8 billion weapons sale was announced in January 2025. In July, 2024, Amnesty International put the Biden administration on notice for allowing the US to sell weapons to Israel used in genocide and war crimes.

Trump and Fox News in Bizarro World

Americans who do their own research and avoid corporate media propaganda understand that Kudlow’s “overwhelming and seismic triumph of the United States and Israel” is a blatant misrepresentation of reality. Gingrich, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary, maintains Trump is “strategically thinking years and decades ahead,” while the president struggles with history and geography. MAGA and the Trump advocators evidently live in a real-world version of Bizarro World, where black is white, and war is peace, as Orwell would have it.

It seems Trump is a victim of the Dunning-Kruger Effect, a cognitive bias that explains why people with limited abilities in a particular area tend to overestimate their skills. “Trump is not merely ignorant,” writes Chauncey DeVega. “He is also supremely confident and feels superior—the most dangerous kind of idiot.”

Regardless of Trump’s obvious disability, Fox News and other MAGA-centric venues insist he operates on a level far above and removed from other people. “My lesson to the media, this one line I wish they would take,” Kayleigh McEnany, Fox News commentator and former Trump SPOX declared in February. “President Trump is playing four-dimensional chess, you all are playing checkers.”

Trump’s ignorance, and the MAGA insistence the president is a geopolitical grandmaster, together pose a significant danger. “Trump’s inner circle and his supporters often invoke scripture and religious imagery to cast violence as part of a divine plan,” writes Henry Giroux for The Conversation. “Some of them, like Sen. Lindsey Graham, have described the ongoing war in Iran as a civilizational or even religious war.”

In normal times, a president declaring a “whole civilization will die tonight,” because it refuses to capitulate, would be on its own evidence enough for the twenty-fifth amendment to be invoked. Section 4 of the amendment states the vice president “and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide” must provide “written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”

However, considering the vice president is increasingly beholden to Zionist billionaires such as Miriam Adelson, Palantir’s Joe Lonsdale, hedge fund manager Paul Singer, and influential others, there is little chance Donald Trump will be removed under the amendment. In short, we will need wait until January and a new Congress before the amendment or impeachment can move forward.

In the meantime, we can only hope Trump will not attempt to wipe Iran, or for that matter Cuba, off the map with nukes. If this seems unlikely, consider the accusation, by former CIA analyst Larry Johnson, that “Trump tried to ‘use the nuclear codes’ on Iran and he was stopped by General Dan Caine.”
