There’s Almost Too Many Things For Which To Investigate Rep. Ilhan Omar

Some people clearly did something.

Sure, on paper, Rep. Ilhan Omar is a radical leftist crossed with an Islamic activist (a fairly typical profile on the contemporary Left), but in some ways she’s a throwback to the kind of insanely corrupt Democrat who would just commit crimes to see what he could get away with.

The current raid on Rep. Ilhan Omar is long overdue for a woman accused of having committed immigration fraud by marrying her brother, but let’s remember that it’s also highly likely that the entire family committed immigration fraud, that the genealogical fraud may cross three continents, and that it’s just the beginning of her career of vice.

Along the way, Omar managed to commit adultery (this time not involving her brother), marry her white campaign consultant, convert him to Islam, have her daughter hook up with terrorists, and then make millions before claiming that it was all an accounting error.

Just consider this brief excerpt from the Adventures of Ilhan Omar

An Omar disclosure filed last year showed she and her husband held assets of between $6 million and $30 million, a massive rise in wealth from her previous annual filing… an amended filing viewed by The Wall Street Journal shows the couple’s assets to be just $18,004 to $95,000. The forms don’t require exact values, only broad ranges.

Those businesses had previously been listed as worth between $6 million and $30 million. In the amended filing, they are shown as having no value once liabilities are factored in

Aides said that Omar looked at the form before it was filed in 2025, but that the error didn’t jump off the page for her because she isn’t involved with her husband’s businesses and she trusted the accuracy of the accountant who provided her husband’s figures.

And it just gets worse from here.

Omar has her husband to thank for catapulting her to multimillionaire status in 2024. Mynett’s California-based winery eStCru LLC and venture capital firm Rose Lake Capital both achieved remarkable financial turnarounds in 2024. At the end of 2023, Mynett’s combined stake in both companies was worth no more than $51,000, the firms had less than $700 across all their bank accounts, and Mynett and his business partner, former DNC adviser Will Hailer, were saddled with lawsuits from investors claiming they defrauded them out of millions of dollars.

Mynett and Hailer formed Rose Lake Capital in 2022. It claims on its website to have $60 billion in assets under management and boasts an “extensive global network” and expertise at structuring “legislation.” The firm’s advisory board includes two former Barack Obama ambassadors, Max Baucus and J. Adam Ereli, as well as former Amalgamated Bank CEO Keith Mestrich.

My only question is: how does it not include Hunter Biden?

Whether or not Rep. Omar committed immigration fraud or married her brother, it’s pretty clear that she hasn’t slowed down at all, and it’s a question of almost too much stuff to investigate.

Some people clearly did something.
