Trump Hits 33% in Post-ABC Poll; Early Ballots Lean Democratic
The new Washington Post-ABC News-Ipsos poll (Oct. 9-13, 2,545 adults, ±2) has Trump at a record-low 33% approval, 37% among registered voters, and 28% on the economy (Ipsos topline).
ABC News: By an 8-percentage point margin, likely voters support the Democratic candidate in congressional district elections over the Republican candidate, 52% to 44%. That margin remains 8 points among registered voters overall, 50% to 42%, an improvement from a July Washington Post-Ipsos poll for Democrats, when just 3 points separated the Democrats from the Republicans.
More from ABC News (the topline has it 37-28 among adults): Americans trust Democrats by 9 points to better handle the economy, the largest margin they’ve had on the issue since 2022 – previously they’ve been about tied with Republicans or were at a deficit to them.
NBC News: Early ballots are piling up: NBC’s TargetSmart tracker counts 9.1 million cast as of Sunday afternoon, 51% from Democrats and 32% from Republicans, with Iowa at 54-30, Michigan 55-36 and Texas 61-33.
Michigan and Texas don’t register voters by party, so those two are TargetSmart’s modeled splits. Before anyone celebrates or panics, the UF Election Lab notes that party registration statistics are for states that have party registration. These statistics are not actual votes. By federal law, election officials do not begin counting ballots until Election Day, although they may start the process of preparing ballots for counting in advance (UF Election Lab).
There are a lot of unknowns going into next month’s election, but the biggest may be whether Trump can rally his base to show up on Election Day.
Ex-USAID Dems Openly Plot Overthrow of U.S. Government in November
It started with a recording. A Zoom call on March 25, 2026. A forum called the Democratic Constitution Forum. A host named John Mulkins. And a voice saying, “So I think this is a plan.”DataRepublican published it in The Democracy Files, Part 1. The leads came from SKDoubleDub33 and iamlisalogan, who dug through thousands of documents, transcripts and recordings.
What they found appears to be nothing less than Antifa-style plans for a revolution in the United States.
The call was hosted by John Mulkins on the Democratic Constitution Forum, recorded on Fathom and released by DataRepublican. On it, Danielle Reiff of the Democracy Renewal Group, a former USAID hand, talks about a coming “crisis of legitimacy” and says, “So I think this is a plan.” Luke Pickrell, a DSA member in the Marxist Unity Group caucus, is on the line too. DataRepublican’s key point comes from the book Unelected: “shared epistemology.” Nobody has to sign anything. The marcher thinks it’s real. The governor thinks he’s just being a governor. Everybody holds a single puzzle piece, and the people on calls like this one know the full picture.

According to internal documents posted by SKDoubleDub33, the Signal groups formed within days of Trump’s 2024 win.
Ex-USAID staff moved off government systems before 1/20, then linked with NGOs and foreign partners. Reiff and Ro Tucci, ex-director of a USAID arm, built DemocracyAID. That group ran workshops on “noncooperation,” passed around the old CIA Simple Sabotage manual and studied the Danish underground. The manual’s advice: dull the tools and slow the work. In a federal agency, that’s called Tuesday. Their friendsofUSAID Instagram grew to nearly 100,000 followers.
SKDoubleDub33’s March 2, 2026 thread has the video. Marcia Mundt, formerly of USAID and the U.S. Institute of Peace, explains that the Democracy Assessment Tool decided where to invest against “backsliding” abroad. She says it was never allowed on the U.S. because of “this big dividing line between foreign assistance work and domestic work.” Then she lost her job. Now she uses it “for whatever I want,” including to measure “No Kings”.
Reiff describes the 22nd Century Initiative and the American Democracy Summit as places where overseas democracy pros met U.S. “blocking” groups like People’s Action and the Horizons Project. The Horizons Project is linked to former USIP figure Maria Stephan. They talk about building “central coordination” with links to Johns Hopkins. The number on the whiteboard is Erica Chenoweth’s 3.5% rule, from Why Civil Resistance Works, which she co-wrote with Stephan. They spent careers grading other countries. Now they’re focused on the U.S.

In the 11/9/25 thread, DataRepublican points to the “we” who organized the February 5 protests. Groups like 50501 and Indivisible linked to George Soros – she says it’s “the first solid link I’ve found connecting the No Kings movement, State Department, and Soros together.” Protesters don’t see the ordered police stand-downs, the pre-arranged legal help or the foundation-funded bail bonds. Then there’s the lawfare. On October 18, DataRepublican wrote, “They’re working with Marc Elias too,” and SKDoubleDub33 confirmed it. Norm Eisen co-wrote Brookings’ Democracy Playbook. Sen. Elissa Slotkin organized the infamous Seditious Six video. The pieces are starting to fit together.
THE BLUEPRINT:
Democrats are planning the overthrow of the U.S. Government. DSA pushes structural reform. If Democrats sweep 2026, DSA activists become “foot soldiers” in sustained clashes designed to cross a “red line.” That’s the “doomsday scenario”: Trump invokes the Insurrection Act, projected around 2027. Coordinated responses then cast Democratic governors as the new source of legitimacy, and 2028 becomes a referendum on whether the system survives or gets “burned down.”
Luke Pickrell’s Democratic Constitution Blog fills in the endgame: a constituent assembly, proportional representation, one legislature, and no Senate. The Senate’s too slow for them. So is the amendment process. They plan to disembowel the Constitution.
THE RECEIPTS
Thousands of documents from public, verifiable sources, archived for posterity. And collection isn’t finished. The investigative team has promised names, including the United Democracy Alliance panel behind “No Kings” and related inorganic protests.
The best question comes from DataRepublican, in the first thread on 11/9/25: “At what point does this become treason?”
