Canadian Hockey Fans Finish US National Anthem after Mic Fail

Talk about some Canadians that will win your heart! During a November 18, 2014 hockey game between the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Nashville Predators, the mic cut out partway through the US national anthem and the Canadian fans took it from there! I’m sure there were some US citizens there as well.

The fact that Canada would so loudly sing the US national anthem was remarkable and quite moving. Even more impressive was that they knew every word!

I confess, I wouldn’t be able to sing their national anthem if there was a technical difficulty of the same manner.

Interestingly enough, I noticed several videos going back over the years at Canadian hockey games where the Canadians sang along with the US national anthem, but this was the first time I witnessed such a spontaneous takeover by the crowd due to technical difficulties.
