The Sons Of The Black Robed Regiment Strike Again!

We are going to tell you stories of preachers in the Black Robed Regiment. These were preachers who during the Revolutionary War when they would hear about what the British were doing, would rally their congregations together to go and join the Continental Army to fight the British.

Most of the time these preachers would join the Continental Army as Chaplain (Revelation 1:6).

Now, you might be wondering where the title Black Robed Regiment came from.

Well, it came from a Tory, also known as Loyalists, and the name was meant to disrespect the preachers, but it had the exact opposite effect.
