Elizabeth Warren Lied About Her Children Going to Public School (Video)

The setting was Senator Elizabeth Warren’s big pitch to black women for their support. Instead, African-American moms who want to be able to send their children to charter schools came out to protest her putting teachers’ unions ahead of children.

After Warren was confronted by a concerned mother, she denied that she had sent her children to private school. And that was a lie.

“We are going to have the same choice that you had for your kids because I read that your children went to private schools,” Carpenter told Warren when the two met, according to video posted to social media, which was first identified by Corey DeAngelis, director of school choice at Reason Foundation.

Warren denied the claim, telling Carpenter, “My children went to public schools.”

A school yearbook obtained by the Washington Free Beacon indicates, however, that Warren’s son, Alex Warren, attended the Kirby Hall School for at least the 1986-1987 school year, Warren’s final year as a professor at the University of Texas at Austin. The college preparatory school is known for its “academically advanced curriculum” and offers small class sizes for students in grades K-12. The yearbook indicates that Alex Warren attended as a fifth grader.

“Elizabeth’s daughter went to public school. Her son went to public school until 5th grade,” Warren communications director Kristen Orthman told the Washington Free Beacon.

So the Warren campaign’s fallback position is that their candidate didn’t lie because some of her kids went to public schools some of the time.

That’s her DNA test disaster all over again.

Warren was denying that she had sent her children to private schools. She’s obviously well aware of where they went to school. It was a dumb lie and bound to come apart.

But Warren constantly lies about her bio. From her Cherokee ancestry to claiming that she had been fired for being pregnant to denying that she sent her children to public school, her backstory is a soggy tissue of lies. And the media won’t call her on it. President Trump however will.
