For those of you wondering if the “Reverend” Al Sharpton could be any more disgusting than he already is… the answer is a profound “yes.”
Just hours after the death of NYPD officers Rafael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, Sharpton was bemoaning what their deaths might mean to his cause. Instead of simply mourning the deaths of two good men, he worried and whined about what their deaths could mean to his own purposes.
Watch his theatrics for yourself.
“We are now under intense threat from those who are misguided – from those who are trying to blame everyone from civil rights leaders to the mayor rather than deal with an ugly spirit that all of us need to fight,” he said.
Sharpton added:
“There are those of us committed to nonviolence and making the system work. And there are those committed to anarchy and recklessness who could care less about the families of police or the families who have raised questions about police accountability.”
Sharpton even wrote an op-ed at the NY Daily News where he dropped this little nugget…
We have even been criticized at National Action Network, NAN, for not allowing certain rhetoric/chants calling for violence, and we would abruptly denounce it at all of our gatherings.
I’m sorry. What? The “Reverend” must have missed the MANY times that things like this were recorded during his marches and protests.
