Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez: “It’s Important We Humanize Government”

OK, incoming congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is arguably one of the stupidest congresswomen, besides Sheila Jackson Lee, to represent any people that I can recall.  Now, she claims that she wants to use an impersonal medium, Instagram, to “humanize government.”  Go figure.

In an interview with MSNBC, Ocasio-Cortez said, “I think it’s so important that we humanize our government. I’ve spoken about this before, about making it real, because a lot of times we’ll tune in to cable news or watch what’s going on on TV. And all we’re reading about is bills and all we’re reading about is legislation or the political dynamics.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Like many young people her age, their lives are bound up in how they look on various social media platforms, creating videos and posts hoping that people “Like” them and share them to make themselves feel like they have a purpose.

Ocasio-Cortez is no different, even videoing herself for social media to see she can actually cook.

However, she added, “I think it’s really important when we actually show people that government is a real thing, that it is something you can be a part of, it’s a process that we can transition into.”

“It really kind of opens up the window to show that anyone can serve,” she concluded.

Um, yeah, it’s called “We the people,” Ms. Cortez.

And “We the People” established three branches of government, something you need to learn about before you speak about it.  We also limited what you as a congresswoman may write as legislation, what the president may do as the Chief Executive Officer and what kinds of cases the federal courts may hear.  These are also things Ms. Cortez would do well to learn about as she embarks on what looks like a lifetime of living off the public dole.

Government is human by its nature because it is people who are its very infrastructure, but what has been missing is understanding its divine origins and how our founding was established by our Creator who gave us our rights and established government to both protect our rights and render justice to criminals.

As the Scriptures declare, those who serve in government are “ministers of God” (Romans 13:1-5).  They are not free to come up with their own ways of governing, but should be those that adhere to the law of God if they are seeking to be both just and righteous.

Of course, with the espousing of Socialism, Ms. Cortez isn’t interested in being a minister of God, upholding justice or being righteous.  She’s too ignorant of the Constitution to uphold it and so, therefore, no matter how much she talks about “humanizing government” all she will end up doing is distorting what government is supposed to be and how it should function.

This is a woman that can’t even run her own life and find an apartment on $174,000 salary paid for by the people who elected her.  Does anyone think she even has a clue as to the blather she is promoting about humanizing government through Instagram?  I think not.
