As Air Force Fails Recruiting for First Time Since ’99, Biden Wants its Boss as Joint Chiefs Chair

We can’t afford to lose talent like this.

Biden’s woke civilian military heads have spent the past two weeks wailing to anyone who will listen that Sen. Tommy Tuberville’s hold on military promotions over abortion endangers national security and will harm the military for generations. (If they really believe that’s true, and they still refuse to stop pushing abortions, what does that say about where their interests and priorities lie?)

We’re told that Air Force Chief of Staff Charles Q. Brown Jr. is urgently needed as the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to bring the leadership he brought to the Air Force.

Brown disgraced himself and his uniform during the Black Lives Matter race riots by releasing a video in which he “seemed to barely contain his rage” while ranting “that the ideals of the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution ‘that I’ve sworn my adult life to support and defend’ have not always delivered ‘liberty and equality’ to all.”

Brown’s racial quotas limit the number of white officers to 67% and cut white men down to 43%. Reducing the number of white men in the officer corps to a minority, 43%, would cripple the service and wipe out generations of talent: especially when 86% of pilots are white men.

The Air Force has not hit its aircraft readiness rates and the mission critical rates for fighter jets are catastrophic.

And now there’s worse news still.

The Air Force will miss its annual enlisted recruiting goal across all three components for the first time since 1999…

How the slowdown may affect the Air Force’s daily operations in combat and at bases around the world remains to be seen. But officials worry it will hinder U.S. efforts to counter Chinese and Russian aggression and influence around the world, and to win future wars.

“The geopolitical landscape was so much different” in 1999, the last time the entire Air Force failed to hit its enlisted recruiting goal, Amrhein said. “Missing this year is kind of at a critical point.”

No problem.

Planes won’t fly. Men won’t show up. Make Brown the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. America can’t afford to lose talent like this or we could actually win.
