Attorney Claims Trump’s Bump Stock Ban “Saved Our Gun Rights From Obama’s Bump Stock Strawman” (Video)
New Jersey attorney Evan Nappen claims that Trump “saved our gun rights from Obama’s bump stock strawman” by banning them. What he doesn’t tell you is that Trump’s Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) banned them after redefining the law, which they are not allowed to do and effectively imposed and ex post facto lawmaking those with bump stocks criminals, something the Constitution expressly forbids Congress from doing (Article I, Section 9, Clause 3) and gives no authority to the Executive Branch to engage in.
