OK, if there is a picture that you would find in the dictionary beside the word “stupid,” perhaps Mayor of Baltimore Stephanie Rawlings-Blake would be the face you would see. Following the rioting that has occurred in the streets of her town, the mayor actually went on national television and told the public that the City of Baltimore “gave those who wished to destroy space to do that.”
“I worked with the police and instructed them to do everything that they could to make sure that the protesters were able to exercise their right to free speech,” Mayor Rawlings-Blake told reporters. “It’s a very delicate balancing act because while we try to make sure that they were protected from the cars and the other things that were going on, we also gave those who wished to destroy space to do that as well.”

Then she added, “We worked very hard to keep that balance and to put ourselves in the best position to de-escalate.”
OK, first thing is first, Baltimore… you people are absolutely brain-dead if you continue to allow this mayor to stay in office, and frankly, you get what you deserve by leaving her in place.
Second, understand that the right of free speech is not to destroy. It is to speak that which is truthful and right.
The fact that Mayor Rawlings-Blake gave space to those wanting to destroy makes her and any police who followed her lead accessories to the property damage that occurred in the city of Baltimore. The city did nothing when New Black Panthers leader Malik Shabazz encouraged the rioting. Furthermore, citizens of Baltimore you now have your mayor openly admitting that on video. I suggest that those who have had their property damaged by rioters sue Baltimore Police and Mayor Rawlings-Blake individually for their complicity in these criminal acts. Additionally, call for the arrest of every rioter present that can be identified (You can begin with this moron throwing a barricade).
As a side note, in a similar manner as I stated when there were some of these race rioters who wanted to stir things up in Florida just ahead of the George Zimmerman verdict, had I been mayor, I would have instructed every citizen to be well armed and deal with these violent criminals on the street to protect life and property. My office would have come along to either bring justice on those still living or carry away the dead (a good riddance to society). Order would have been maintained. There would have been no space given to criminals to destroy other people’s property at all, zero, zip, nada.
The fact that those elected to do a job are failing to do it only demonstrates how lawless the people have become because they tolerate it. They hold neither the criminals that perpetrate the crimes responsible nor do they hold those in authority who are charged with bringing justice to bear on those evildoers to a high standard (Rom. 13:1-5).
It’s time the people demanded that the mayor and the police officers who did nothing be arrested, along with the people that actually committed crimes, and brought to justice!
