This idea that we should oppose people or ideology due to skin color is not only childish but it’s sinful. Yet, this is what Communist and Black Lives Matter supporters promote constantly, including anti-American activist and Black Lives Matter supporter Shaun King.
In a recent set of tweets, King declared that all Christian imagery should be destroyed because it portrays Jesus the Christ as “white.”
“Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down. They are a form of white supremacy. Always have been. In the Bible, when the family of Jesus wanted to hide, and blend in, guess where they went? EGYPT! Not Denmark. Tear them down,” he tweeted.
Yes, I think the statues of the white European they claim is Jesus should also come down.
They are a form of white supremacy.
Always have been.
In the Bible, when the family of Jesus wanted to hide, and blend in, guess where they went?
Tear them down.

He then added, “Yes. All murals and stained glass windows of white Jesus, and his European mother, and their white friends should also come down. They are a gross form white supremacy. Created as tools of oppression. Racist propaganda. They should all come down.”
Frankly, I don’t care for any images of “Jesus.”
The Bible is clear on this subject:
“Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.” -Exodus 20:4-6
To make images of “Jesus” is forbidden and only brings him down from his glorified state as King of kings and Lord of lords.
However, what is interesting is that King doesn’t mention the fact that Muhammad was clearly a “white” man and makes no reference to destroying anything in Islam.
For instance, take a listen to Christian apologist David Wood in pointing out just how “white” Muhammad was. Additionally, notice that Muhammad had “black” slaves, but never mind King’s cherry picking of what he desires to pick on because I’m sure he’s just fine with Islam and their manstealing of blacks to sell to the “white” man, right?
Wood jokes at the beginning of his commentary, “What if I told you there was a ‘prophet’ out there that is so white, he makes Joseph Smith (another false prophet) look like Malcom X? He’s so white, he makes a bowl of vanilla ice cream yell, ‘Get him out of here, he’s blinding me!’ He’s so white, his 9-year-old child bride didn’t a night light.”
David is speaking of none other than the man who founded the death cult of Islam, who also referred to black Ethiopians as “raisin heads.”
Knowing this, would you call Muhammad a racist, or give him a pass because he founded Islam?
“Many people who don’t read the Muslim sources assume that Muhammad was dark-skinned, but Arabs are classified as Caucasians and they can exhibit a variety of shades and tones,” said Wood.
If we were to look for Muhammad in the midst of his fellow Arabs, al-Bukhari writes in his Hadith:
Narrated Anas bin Malik: While we were sitting with the Prophet in the mosque, a man came riding on a camel. He made his camel kneel down in the mosque, tied its foreleg and then said, “Who amongst you is Muhammad?” At that time the Prophet was sitting amongst us (his Companions) leaning on his arm. We replied, “This white man reclining on his arm.”
Of course, if that doesn’t have you laughing enough, Wood goes on to read more about Muhammad, whom he says “makes the Brady Bunch look like NWA.”
Sahih Muslim adds in 6081:
It was narrated that Abu Juhaifah said: “I saw the Messenger of Allah with a white complexion and some white hairs.”
“Who knew that Anderson Cooper with a 7th century prophet?” joked Wood.
However, he continue with Sahih Muslim (6071):
It was narrated from Al-Jurairi from Abu At-Tufail: “I said to him: ‘Did you see the Messenger of Allah?’ He said: ‘Yes, he was white with an elegant face.”
Wood goes on to point out that the Muslims sources go out of their way to point out the “whitness of his [Muhammad] shins,” the “whiteness of the thigh,” the “whiteness of his leg” the “whiteness of his stomach,” the “whiteness of his forearms,” the whiteness of his armpits” and the “whiteness of his cheeks.”
Now, again, the Scriptures are clear:
“And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings…” -Acts 17:26
I say the above to simply point out that King is someone that is indoctrinated. He pontificates about color of skin, but promotes lawlessness, the very thing that even Martin Luther King, Jr., regardless of how you see him, did state truth when he said we should just men upon the content of their character, not the color of their skin.
King and many like him in America and around the world are devoid of character and it shows in what they promote, the destruction of private and public property.
They are not seeking justice. They are seeking vengeance, selfishness and lawlessness.
They believe that they are fighting for the right cause, but their end will be bitter and death (Psalm 16:25).
While I reject any depictions of Jesus as nothing more than things forbidden in the Second Commandment, it’s interesting that people on Twitter took King to task.
Odd take. What do you think of the Mexican depictions of the Holy family? Or others? pic.twitter.com/skZyxY15Sh

There is a long beautiful history of people depicting Jesus looking familiar to their place and culture. Jesus is not about race, and saying to tear down depictions that occur in a European-dominant context is as racist as removing them from any culture. pic.twitter.com/C1wFSr1xXr

Furthermore, some rightly pointed out why Jesus and his parents went to Egypt and that was to protect Him from Herod’s death decree.
Dude, I have no issue with saying Jesus wasn't white, but Mary and Joseph didn't take him to Egypt to "blend in", they took him there because it was out of Herod's jurisdiction.
Have you tried reading the book?

It’s also rather interesting about skin color when it comes to the Middle East.
This is a pic of a group of people in Lebanon today from Nassim Nicholas Taleb. We have a fair sized Syrian/Lebanese community in my neighborhood, went to school with many. No darker than your typical Italians. pic.twitter.com/4uGzjdyWXP

God created us all differently. That should be something that we glorify Him in doing. Instead, anti-theist people like King not only dishonor our forefathers and people throughout the world, but he dishonors the true and living God as well. The message for King is not an encouragement towards the destruction of property, but a command from the Creator to repent of his sins and put his faith in the Lord Jesus, the King he is seeking to make a political pawn.
By the way, King, you’re practically white yourself, just sayin’. Why not simply glorify God as he has made you instead of insulting your fellow man based on the color of their skin.
