Can A Person Support The Democratic Party & Be A Christian?

According to the Constitution, anyone can support whomever they deem necessary to represent them.  Yet, politicians must support the rule of law by upholding the unalienable rights of the individual.  This is called a constitutional republic and not a democracy.

So, can a Christian be a Democrat and still be a Christian?  Here’s what the Declaration of Independence states: “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Our Founding Fathers were inspired by the Creator of heaven and earth that all men are created equal and this is self-evident.

To be “self-evident” and truthful, when a Christian does not protect the innocent, is he or she not betraying their profession by not seeking to protect the most vulnerable of mankind? Whereas, a Christian adheres to the Word of God, which was made into flesh and became man.  If man destroys the flesh, does he not destroy the liberties and the pursuit of happiness?

The Constitution states we are all equal under the law, but whose law?  God’s or man’s?  So, can a professing Christian be a Democrat and still be a Christian?

One cannot judge what’s in another man’s heart, but once the heart begins beating, this is considered life — which is entitled to liberty and happiness.
