“It is the purpose of preachers to preach out against sin, and it is for the Government to restrain men from sin.”
After preaching at a local event in Ohio a short while back, a man that was speaking at the pulpit after me asked 300 listeners, “Can you imagine Bradlee Dean speaking at churches across America?”
Well, I can, because I do. I have spoken at churches across America thousands of times.
The first thing that went through my mind was why would someone say something like that if the body of Christ’s end aim is to be allied and unified in Christ, regardless of the gifting of the Apostle, Prophet, Teacher, Evangelist or the Pastor (Ephesians 4:11)?
“Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.” -1 Corinthians 1:10
“For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.” -Ephesians 4:12
Maybe these “spiritual overseers” as they like to call themselves (Matthew 23:8) should do a little homework into Church history concerning those who have gone before us in the faith, which we as Christians are to follow considering the end of their conversation (1 Corinthians 11:1; Hebrews 13:7).
One might consider that such men as the Son of God, Jesus Christ (Jesus was delivered up by His own nation and the chief priests John 18:35), the Apostles, the Apostle Paul, Martin Luther, John Wesley, George Whitefield, Salvation Army Founders William and Catherine Booth, John Knox and others were all ostracized from the Church in their times only to be pushed out to the masses in the fields, the city streets, the schools, prisons, and also to testify before Kings (Matthew 10:18).
“ They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” -John 16:2
People that call themselves Christians should think before they talk.
Then again, I suppose that when you say the things that men want to hear rather than what they ought to hear, I would probably be warmly welcomed back into the good old boys club only to receive the approbation of men rather than the praise of God as well (Luke 6:26).
Faithful preachers of the Word of God are hated for preaching out against sin.
“The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.” -John 7:7
Now, friends, imagine with me if you would, not only preaching to effeminate and biblical illiterate hirelings across the country, which are the greatest advocates to the abortion industry (Proverbs 6:17), the sodomite agenda (Leviticus 18:22, 20:13; Jude 1:7), and aiding and abetting illegals that mean to destroy and to conquer America (Deuteronomy 28:43; Article 3, Section 3, US Constitution; US 8 code 1324).
But also preaching to the corrupt, the said representatives in American government whom are responsible today for the furtherance of the forging of the chains of there subjects, namely, the American people.
This is what it might look like…
In 2 King’s 22:10-13, we read:
“And Shaphan the scribe shewed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest hath delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king. And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the book of the law, that he rent his clothes. And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Achbor the son of Michaiah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asahiah a servant of the king’s, saying, Go ye, enquire of the Lord for me, and for the people, and for all Judah, concerning the words of this book that is found: for great is the wrath of the Lord that is kindled against us, because our fathers have not hearkened unto the words of this book, to do according unto all that which is written concerning us.”
And what did Josiah do? Read the whole of 2 Kings 23 and see that he did the same thing that any other God-fearing man or woman should do (Proverbs 16:6, 20:8). He rid his land of that which offended God. He put a stop to that which further jeopardized true spiritual freedom by condemning the wicked and justifying the righteous (2 Corinthians 3:17, Deuteronomy 25:1).
I would put down the heretical and idolatrous priests, pastors, hirelings (John 10:12) just as Josiah did.
I would abolish the murder of the innocent (Proverbs 6:17). I would prosecute the abortionist to the fullest extent of the law, as well as all of those who have illegally sanctioned the murder of the innocent (Deuteronomy 19:21).
I would rid the land of the sodomites (1 Kings 15:12) and prosecute those who were guilty of the act (A felony in every state of our American union) to the fullest extent of the law.
I would deport illegal and subversive immigrants back to their own countries that have come to America not to assimilate but to conquer (8 US Code – 1324)
Finally, I would hold accountable every single said representative in American government to the enumerated laws found in the US Constitution. I would glean their activities during their tenure in their said representative capacity (Both public and private-for they are one in the same) and hold them accountable to every jot and tittle that they have transgressed.
This is what I would not only preach, but also what I would practice.
Do you want a reality check? What I am highlighting concerning what I would do is already found in the Bible and our American laws and state statutes!
The problem with Americans today is that this is foreign to most in the pulpits and their hearers (2 Timothy 4:3). In government capacities and in pulpits across America , this for the most part is not preached or practiced, nor are these laws enforced by the American government to establish justice.
How contrary to what the purpose of the Church and the government are to be. Now can you imagine what America would be if what I preached became a reality once again? Me too!
“Study the Constitution. Let it be preached from the pulpit, proclaimed in legislatures, and enforced in courts of justice.” -President Abraham Lincoln
I end with a question for you, what would America be like if you were to preach (Exodus 32:26; 2 Timothy 4:5)?
