Which Candidate Do You Support in the Republican Primaries?
The shooting took the life of nine people, including state senator and pastor Clementa Pinckney.
According to reports, Roof sat in on a prayer meeting that was going on at Emanuel AME Church for at least an hours before opening fire on the congregants. One female survivor claimed that Roof was “letting her live so she could tell everyone else what happened.”
Pinckney’s cousin told MSNBC, “He just said ‘I have to do it.’ He said, ‘You rape our women, and you’re taking over our country, and you have to go.'”
He was identified via surveillance footage and also his car tag number.

One five year old girl survived the shooting by “playing dead.”
Many wrongly assumed that Dylan Roof of West Columbia was the shooter. He took to Facebook to make sure that people understood that just because their names are similar and live in the same state did not mean he was the murder suspect.
Beyond being an event that seems to be racially motivated, which resulted in nine people losing their lives at the hands of a murderer, the race-baiter himself took to the bully pulpit to call for more unconstitutional gun control legislation.
“I’ve had to make statements like this too many times,” Obama said following the shooting. “It is in our power to do something about it. I say that recognizing the politics of this town foreclose a lot of those avenues right now. But it’d be wrong for us not to acknowledge it.”
No, it’s not in your power to do anything regarding guns. It’s never been in the power of the federal government to do anything regarding arms at all.
He also went on to say that the US must “reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence doesn’t happen in other advanced countries.”
This is pure nonsense. Does anyone recall what took place in Australia, a country that has banned guns, last year? Click here to refresh your memory and remember it was an Islamic jihadist behind the gun. Anyone recall what took place at Charlie Hebdo headquarters earlier this year by Islamic jihadists? What about the Kosher Market in Paris? Both France and Australia would be considered “advanced countries.” At least in Australia, one lawmaker recognized exactly what strict gun laws do. They make victims of law-abiding citizens.
“Communities like this have had to endure tragedies like this too many times,” Obama continued. “We don’t have all the facts, but we do know that once again, innocent people were killed in part because someone who wanted to inflict harm had no trouble getting their hands on a gun.”
He added, “Let’s be clear. At some point, we as a country will have to reckon with the fact that this type of mass violence does not happen in other advanced countries. It doesn’t happen in other places with this kind of frequency. At some point, it’s going to be important for the American people to come to grips with it.”
Using the Alinsky tactic, Obama also not only focused on guns, but also on race.
“This is not the first time that black churches have been attacked,” Mr. Obama said. “We know that hatred across races and faiths pose a particular threat to our democracy and our ideals.”
Sorry, I don’t buy either argument. Where I live there are good relations between whites and blacks and we don’t have a rampage of people walking into businesses or churches and murdering people. Obama is just out to push an agenda, and it’s a Marxist agenda.
