“For many bare false witness against him, but their witness agreed not together.” -Mark 14:56
If there is one thing that I have had to deal with over and over again since first hitting the strait and narrow path in ministry (Matthew 7:14), it is in dealing with being accused of the opposite of what I am guilty (Isaiah 5:20). The things of which I am guilty, such as bringing forth the truth, no one dares address because that exposes them for that which they are guilty (Malachi 2:6).
“Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.” -Matthew 5:11
Someone on Facebook recently posted this to my site, questioning my credibility about one of my articles.
It said “Bradlee Dean really?” With this link: https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/Bradlee_Dean
I am adding Wikipedia’s link, as well, for you to see how you are treated as a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Can_Run_But_You_Cannot_Hide_International
In asking me for a reply, he wrote, “…What say you?”
The first thing I noticed from the person questioning my credibility who wrote “Bradlee Dean…Really?” just happened to be a lesbian. There is a reason people refer to the sodomites as being backward (Romans 1:24-32).
Apparently these people, along with those who give ear to them, fail to understand that in every state in our union sodomy is a felony! They are called “crimes against nature.” This is nothing short of the criminals calling the peace officers “pigs,” or the devil calling Jesus Beelzebub through the pharisee’s (Matthew 12:27-29,James 3:18).
This is the response when you are faithful to preach the Gospel message: “Repent for the kingdom of Heaven is at hand” (Mathew 3:2).
Now, after reading the first sentence from the link that was sent to me, I thought to myself that if you are that ignorant to believe these lies, then you are ignorant enough to believe anything. No wonder why the CIA-controlled mainstream media is getting away with the propaganda that they push (Roman 1:19).
However, let me make clear that I am not here to justify myself nor am I attempting to safeguard my reputation so that it may appeal to the fallen propensities that men have in order that, in the end, I may receive their approbations (Mark 16:15; Philippians 2:7-9). I am merely pointing out to those that should scripturally know better, the scriptural truths of the matter.
One of the surest ways in identifying a real ministry is by the persecution that it endures (John 15:20).
In response to “What say you Bradlee?” I responded with, “What did they say about Jesus before they crucified Him?”
Well, let me take the time to explain to those who do not take the time to read their Bibles what they should already know (2 Timothy 2:5).
“And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate. And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King. And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it. Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man. And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.” -Luke 23:1-5
Who was the “more fierce” in stirring up the people towards Christ for a lie that they could not prove?
“Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death; But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses.” -Matthew 26:59
Who sought for false witness against Jesus to put Him to death?
“Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him. But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done. Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man doeth many miracles. If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.” -John 11:45-48
Who was afraid of losing their positions, of having their place and nation taken away?
Jesus told His disciples, “The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil” (John 7:7).
Who was hated for telling the truth and pointing out and reproving sins?
“If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me. If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin. He that hateth me hateth my Father also.” -John 15:18:23
Jesus told His disciples that they were going to be hated by the world because they were not of this world.
Again, look at what Jesus told those who followed Him what they were to expect as Christians (Acts 14:22)?
“Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues; And ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you. And the brother shall deliver up the brother to death, and the father the child: and the children shall rise up against their parents, and cause them to be put to death.
And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come. The disciple is not above his master, nor the servant above his lord.
It is enough for the disciple that he be as his master, and the servant as his lord. If they have called the master of the house Beelzebub, how much more shall they call them of his household?” -Mark10:16-25
The problem that professed, uneducated Christians are having is that they do not have the doctrine within their own hearts that Christ mandated that they should know, and that is in knowing what is expected when adhering to Him and His Words (John 7:17).
In their ignorance they believe that somehow we are to be welcomed with open arms by the world, embraced and loved by who we preach against (John 16:8).
The Bible is clear when it states, “Woe unto you when men speak well of you for so did their fathers of the false prophets” (Luke 6:38). We are seeing a lot of this in America today, and yet, Scripture clearly tells us:
“…for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.” -Luke 16:15
A majority of professors believe that if they preach against the sins of the world that they will go through this life unscathed when it comes to persecution, lies, slander etc. The opposite is true (Psalm 23).
“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.” -2 Timothy 3:12
“As a matter of fact Jesus said “that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service.” -John 16:2
No, the best way to gauge an effective Christian ministry is to gauge it by the enemies of righteousness, who are those who live contrary to God’s moral law. That law refutes and stands against our enemies in this spiritual warfare to which we are called. Afterall, we are here to establish His kingdom come and that His will be done on this earth as it is in Heaven (Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 6:12). Look to Christ crucified (John 3:16; 1 Corinthians 1:23; 1 Peter 3:18).
Catherine Booth, wife to William Booth, founders of Salvation Army, said,
“On the lack of opposition and persecution as a bad sign: “Opposition! It is a bad sign for the Christianity of this day that it provokes so little opposition. If there were no other evidence of it being wrong, I should know from that. When the Church and the world can jog along together comfortably, you may be sure there is something wrong. The world has not altered. Its spirit is exactly the same as it ever was, and if Christians were equally faithful and devoted to the Lord, and separated from the world, living so that their lives were a reproof to all ungodliness, the world would hate them as much as it ever did. It is the Church that has altered, not the world.”
