Clinton Aide: Hackers Accessed John Podesta’s Email Account Because Of My Typo

A Clinton campaign aide says that his typo is to blame for opening up campaign chairman John Podesta‘s email account to hackers, though it has yet to be proven that it is, in fact, Russia that did the hacking.

The New York Times reported:

WASHINGTON — When Special Agent Adrian Hawkins of the Federal Bureau of Investigation called the Democratic National Committee in September 2015 to pass along some troubling news about its computer network, he was transferred, naturally, to the help desk.

His message was brief, if alarming. At least one computer system belonging to the D.N.C. had been compromised by hackers federal investigators had named “the Dukes,” a cyberespionage team linked to the Russian government.

The F.B.I. knew it well: The bureau had spent the last few years trying to kick the Dukes out of the unclassified email systems of the White House, the State Department and even the Joint Chiefs of Staff, one of the government’s best-protected networks.

One question must be raised in this more than lengthy article by the NYT, and that is that this is the same FBI that has given Hillary Clinton over an illegal email server that was not secure. Is there narrative here that is not coming out in the NYT report? You better believe it!

“This is a legitimate email,” Charles Delavan, a Clinton campaign aide, replied to another of Mr. Podesta’s aides, who had noticed the alert. “John needs to change his password immediately.”

OK, so it’s legitimate. The question remains, where is the evidence that Russia hacked the account? How do we know it’s not our own corrupt government doing the hacking in a similar manner that they did to the San Bernardino jihadist, or worse yet, General George Petraeus?

The Times went on to report, “With another click, a decade of emails that Mr. Podesta maintained in his Gmail account — a total of about 60,000 — were unlocked for the Russian hackers. Mr. Delavan, in an interview, said that his bad advice was a result of a typo: He knew this was a phishing attack, as the campaign was getting dozens of them. He said he had meant to type that it was an “illegitimate” email, an error that he said has plagued him ever since.”

“The United States had two decades of warning that Russia’s intelligence agencies were trying to break into America’s most sensitive computer networks,” the report continues. “But the Russians have always managed to stay a step ahead.”

Really? Well who was two steps ahead when FBI director James Comey didn’t seek to have Hillary Clinton brought up on charges when he knew she violated federal law with her illegal personal email server?

Something is rotten in Denmark!

Chuck Ross with the Daily Caller comments:

Delevan told The Times that he knew that the email to Podesta was a phishing scheme because the campaign was receiving dozens of similar attacks.

As The Times reported: “He said he had meant to type that it was an ‘illegitimate’ email, an error that he said has plagued him ever since.”

The hack, which was not particularly complicated, has led to growing calls to investigate the scope of Russia’s infiltration of various American political organizations. While U.S. law enforcement officials say that Russia was likely behind the cyber attacks, which also hit the Democratic National Committee, a debate has emerged over whether the Russian government specifically intended to help Donald Trump defeat Clinton or whether it merely wanted to disrupt the American political system.

The CIA reportedly believes that because only Democrats’ emails were released, Russia sought specifically to help Trump. But other evidence goes against that theory.

As The Times reported, the FBI knew as early as last September that a collective of Russian hackers known to the bureau as “The Dudes” were attempting to hack the Democratic National Committee. That was well before Trump was considered to have even a remote chance of winning the GOP nomination.

According to The Times, the DNC failed to accommodate the FBI at the time. In July, WikiLeaks published a trove of emails hacked from the DNC. The documents showed that DNC officials, including then-chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, spoke negatively about Clinton’s challenger, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. The party had maintained through the primaries that they had no preference between Clinton and Sanders.

Isn’t it interesting that the people most in line with a Communist mindset, the Democrats and Hillary Clinton, are the ones’ pointing the fingers at Russia, when we already know how they operate under a Saul Alinsky method?

I’m extremely wary of thinking this is anything but our own people running a show in order to present a question in the mind of the American people as to the legitimate election of Donald Trump.

I think Paul Joseph Watson has similar sentiments.
