Well, we know the tales of the Clintons friends like Harvey Weinstein and Jeffrey Epstein and their alleged sexual abuse allegations, but now allegations have surfaced against Clinton pal Les Mooves, CBS’ chairman and CEO.
According to Fox News:
CBS Chairman and CEO Les Moonves will be accused of “unwanted kissing and touching” in Ronan Farrow’s latest #MeToo bombshell for The New Yorker, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
“Sources with knowledge of the article say it delves into the broader culture at CBS and will publish later today on the magazine’s website,” the entertainment outlet reported on Friday.
Farrow’s account in The New Yorker reportedly includes allegations against Moonves, 68, detailing recent claims in addition to incidents that occurred “more than 20 years ago.”
By Moonves’ own mouth, he and Bill Clinton have been friends for years. In a 2001 piece at CBSNews. com, it was reported:
While still president, Bill Clinton talked to the chief executive of CBS on behalf of two Hollywood friends involved in a billing dispute with the network.
CBS chief executive Leslie Moonves confirmed the discussion Tuesday but denied that Clinton’s intercession on behalf of TV producers Harry Thomason and Linda Bloodworth-Thomason played a role in the dispute’s resolution.
“I’ve had numerous chats with President Clinton over the past few years,” Moonves said. “He is a friend of mine. No business decision has ever been made on the basis of a conversation with him.”
Moonves said he and Clinton had talked about several subjects, one of which was Thomason. He said Clinton told him something like, “Harry’s our friend, be nice.”
“That was the extent of it,” Moonves said.
One has to wonder if that was the “extent of it” or not. You see, these two men didn’t just chat a bit, their friendship was a lot deeper.
The same CBS piece acknowledges:
The president and Moonves have skied and golfed together, and Mr. Clinton convinced him to produce the network movie A Child’s Wish, about a family’s battle with illness that led to the passage of the president’s cherished Family and Medical Leave Act, the paper reported.
Mr. Clinton played himself in a cameo role.
CBS Corp. CEO Leslie Moonves is said to have played a large role in securing The President Is Missing for Showtime, as the executive has a long-standing relationship with Clinton and Patterson. Patterson, for his part, is already part of the CBS Corp. family, as he has an overall deal with CBS Television Studios and executive produces CBS’ Zoo and Instinct.
The premium cable network has handed out a straight-to-series order for a TV adaptation of former President Bill Clinton and James Patterson’s soon-to-be-published book The President Is Missing.
Just last week, I reported on mega-donor to Hillary Clinton and operations director for NXIVM Clare Bronfman, the co-founder, her daughter and bookkeeper have been arrested in an NXIVM Hollywood sex cult bust.
Clearly, the Clintons run in a circle with people who seem to be just as sexually debauched as they are. Is this just the beginning of what we are about to learn about Mr. Moonves now?
