Congressman to DOJ & Capitol Police: Arrest “Any Illegal Aliens” Attending SOTU
At least one congressman has called on Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Capitol Police to arrest “any illegal aliens” that would show up for the State of the Union address on Tuesday.
Following a report that 24 Democrats planned to bring illegal aliens with them to President Donald Trump’s first State of the Union address on Tuesday, Representative Paul Gosar (R-AZ) echoed the call by columnist Ann Coulter
Earlier this week, Coulter said in a radio interview, “I’ve also heard they’re planning on inviting illegal aliens. So Jeff Sessions better be ready to arrest all of them for conspiring to commit a crime, which I believe is a felony under federal law in all 50 states, even if the crime itself is not a felony.”
“I mean, they had to have meetings, they had to make a phone call,” she added. “These are people who are in the country illegally and anyone conspiring with them to keep them here illegally, to invite them to a State of the Union address, Jeff Sessions should have them all arrested and I mean the congressmen.”
Gosar followed up with several tweets calling for similar action on Tuesday.

“Additionally, Congressman Gosar asked that they arrest those using fraudulent social security numbers and identification to pass through security,” the congressman added in another tweet.

“Of all the places where the Rule of Law needs to be enforced, it should be in the hallowed halls of Congress. Any illegal aliens attempting to go through security, under any pretext of invitation or otherwise, should be arrested and deported,” said Congressman Gosar.

Rep. Gosar also told Breitbart News in an interview, “A country with no borders, and no enforcement of its laws, is not a country. It is anarchy. It is chaos. Trump was elected to restore order and enforce the law. Obama, by contrast, enjoyed flouting our laws and our constitution.”
In contrast to DC Democrats who often play fast and loose with the law, President Trump has invited a very special guest.
The New York Post is reporting that Evelyn Rodriguez, whose 16-year-old daughter, Kayla Cuevas, was found beaten and stabbed in September 2016 in Brentwood by members of the MS-13 gang, which has largely grown in America due to a mass influx of illegal immigration.
“I just want what’s right to be done,” Rodriguez, 49, told the newspaper. “Everybody should put their political agenda aside and think about what’s going on in our country.”
We’ll see if there are any arrests made tonight. I have to be honest and say that I don’t like where all this ID stuff is going to prove you are legal or illegal when there is no evidence of a crime. However, with Democrats telling everyone they are going to be bringing people who are knowingly in violation of immigration law, I don’t see an issue with checking them out and arresting them on the spot if they are in violation.
