“If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land:” -Isaiah 1:19
Throughout my days upon this earth, I have, like so many others, at least those who are paying attention and responding to the ever-present threats to our republic, the constant bombardment of defeatism, hopelessness, capitulation, and in short, surrender to the enemies of this country, wondered why believers act more like unbelievers. Apparently, they do not understand that reason is the very enemy of faith.
Now you might be saying that is what the mainstream media and corrupt politicians are supposed to do: drive people to despair as they continually break people down with their propaganda, fear and oppressive measures.
Here is the truth of the matter: I am not talking about those who you would expect it to come from, I am talking about those that claim to be Christians, conservatives and patriots.
To be more exact, it is the generation of hippies, those that are in their 60s and 70s that offer the next up-and-coming generations their message of doom and gloom and hopelessness.
These are the ones that are self-appointed in the pulpits of the churches in America today (John 10:12).
These know not “If ye be willing and obedient, ye shall eat the good of the land” (Isaiah 1:19).
No, as a matter of fact, they hate those that do know and believe. They want to somehow justify the unjustifiable.
It clearly reminds me of the account found in Numbers 14.
“And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night. And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!
And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt. Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes: And they spake unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.
If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey.
Only rebel not ye against the LORD, neither fear ye the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.
But all the congregation bade stone them with stones.”
These are those who lay claim to be believers and yet, they do not believe (2 Thessalonians 3:2).
These people, who operate in a spirit of error, speak a language that the world can hear, for they know not the Lord (1 John 4:6).
They know not what it means to overcome (Romans 8:37) because they have not the faith that overcomes the world (1 John 5:4) and that is why they continually succumb, all the while preaching the same message as their enemies preach (Mark 8:15).
Every day in this ministry, we receive hundreds of messages coming from those that claim to be Christians and conservatives, which adds to the burden rather than to faith. They offer hopelessness, almost attempting to prove their point that there is nothing that any of us can do in the face of our enemies. Why? Because these are the same people that turned and capitulated in the day of battle and gave their child to the very enemies with which they failed to faceoff.
Scripture tells us in Psalm 78:1-11:
“Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
We will not hide them from their children, shewing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he hath done.
For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments: And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not stedfast with God.
The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.
They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law; And forgat his works, and his wonders that he had shewed them.”
Conclusion: These are the same sort that we are dealing with today in America. They are good for nothing, only to be trodden under foot of men, and so they are.
They are a reproach to the body of Christ and are unashamed for for that which the younger generations must now confront.
These are those that are busy relaying the message of the world to the Church rather than the other way around.
How unlike our Founding Forefathers and The Black Robed Regiment!
These are those who appoint new captains, the ones they promote and defend as their favorite corrupt politicians (Mark 8:15). They know all about politics and the conversation of the hypocritical politicians and hypocritical religious pawns, but never make reference to the Word of God in correcting them (2 Timothy 3:16). That is the message that they know not to preach.
Friends, let me tell you that in this country, you have 330 million people, 86% of which profess to be Christians (1 John 2:4), but they did nothing but complain about what less than 1.7% of the population is allowed to do.
The Church fails in keeping the commandments of God (Deuteronomy 8:11) and they fail in keeping His statutes and His judgments in dealing with the wicked (Isaiah 26:9). They sit back and say, it is the end times and all the while, the Lord is looking at them to do for themselves what He has commanded them to do in giving their posterity a future and a hope.
They have found their place in making war against real Christianity (Matthew 5:13). The messages that they give and are conveying through their disobedience to the Lord proves the very point (Isaiah 8:20).
