Did Mike Cernovich Just Get Jeffrey Epstein Arrested for Sex Trafficking?

Billionaire financier Jeffrey Epstein was arrested Saturday and charged with sex trafficking by federal prosecutors, as the saga of the longtime Bill Clinton friend and ally heats up.

“Two people with knowledge of the charges said on Saturday night that Mr. Epstein had been arrested in the New York area and was in federal custody,” according to The New York Times. “He is expected to appear before a federal magistrate on Monday, more than a decade after he first gained notoriety with lurid accusations that he had paid dozens of girls for sexual massages in Florida.”

But it wasn’t until independent journalist and author Mike Cernovich doggedly chased Epstein’s records down, filing a lawsuit which was later joined by attorney Alan Dershowitz and The Miami Herald, to have documents related to Epstein’s past sexual exploits unsealed, that the mainstream press became interested in Epstein’s story.

Despite the fact that Epstein has long been accused of molesting multiple underage girls, and the fact that he has a longstanding relationship with Bill Clinton – with whom he reportedly flew on his “Lolita Express” to a private island commonly called “orgy island” – the establishment media looked the other way until its hand was forced by Cernovich.

After several years of work, Cernovich’s efforts paid off Wednesday when 2000 pages of documents “that are expected to show evidence relating to whether Epstein and his partner, Ghislaine Maxwell, were recruiting underage girls and young women as part of an international sex trafficking operation,” were unsealed.

The fact that Epstein was arrested just two days later is hardly a coincidence.

Cernovich spoke to Breitbart about the legal victory.

“This victory shows that Andrew Breitbart’s spirit is alive and well,” he said. “The lawsuit to unseal the Jeff Epstein records came from a citizen journalist and was ignored by the D.C. media class. Never back down and never give up.”

Epstein was accused of paying several girls for sexual massages in 2007, but dodged federal charges, instead accepting a plea deal, which included state charges on soliciting prostitution. He technically served 13 months in a county jail and did have to register as a sex offender, but his jail sentence allowed him to spend six days per week working from home.

Epstein is, or at least has been, a close friend of Bill Clinton.

According to Fox News:

Former President Bill Clinton was a much more frequent flyer on a registered sex offender’s infamous jet than previously reported, with flight logs showing the former president taking at least 26 trips aboard the “Lolita Express” — even apparently ditching his Secret Service detail for at least five of the flights, according to records obtained by FoxNews.com.

Clinton’s presence aboard Jeffrey Epstein’s Boeing 727 on 11 occasions has been reported, but flight logs show the number is more than double that, and trips between 2001 and 2003 included extended junkets around the world with Epstein and fellow passengers identified on manifests by their initials or first names, including “Tatiana.” The tricked-out jet earned its Nabakov-inspired nickname because it was reportedly outfitted with a bed where passengers had group sex with young girls.

Epstein is expected to be arraigned Monday in a federal court in New York. He is currently in lockup in Manhattan.
