Don’t Blame Politicians Alone for the Corruption- Americans YOU are the Government, Bring the Justice Required!
“We the People…” -Preamble to the U.S. Constitution
The U.S. Constitution starts off naming the government in this country under God (Psalm 33:12).
Interestingly enough, we also find that the first thing required of the people to remain a free people (2 Corinthians 3:17) is to form a perfect union in establishing justice, the very heart and character of the living God (Jeremiah 9:24; Isaiah 26:9). Because our forefathers exhibited such obedience to the Lord’s statutes, we, as a country, have enjoyed the freedoms for over 247 years.
“Keep My Commandments and Live” -Proverbs 7:2
However, if you are rebellious and disobedient people, you will be destroyed from within (Deuteronomy 28:63), and your country will be turned into hell (Psalm 9:17).
Friends, Americans are being judged today by those who hate them, the corrupt politicians. Why? It’s because they have failed to obey the voice of the Lord by lawfully dealing with the corruption! They are not above the law. They have now gone so far as to think that they are the law, but they are not!
“But if ye will not hearken unto me, and will not do all these commandments; And if ye shall despise my statutes, or if your soul abhor my judgments, so that ye will not do all my commandments, but that ye break my covenant: I also will do this unto you… I will set my face against you, and ye shall be slain before your enemies: they that hate you shall reign over you;”
Is this what is happening today? Yes, it is. Well, why are the people blaming the corrupt politicians for that which they should deal with lawfully?
Apathetic Americans are accomplices to the crimes of the guilty if justice is not brought to them (Jeremiah 5:28).
Americans can blame the corrupt all that they want, but the obvious fact is Americans are putting up with it and have no one else to blame but themselves!
In conclusion: The politicians are always blamed for the crimes that are tolerated by the people, and rightfully so. Yet, do Americans realize that the crimes that they overlook, when failing to deal with the corrupt politicians (Article II, Section 4; Article I, Section 3, Clause 7), are actually rendering them as accomplices to their crimes.
Americans, under the Living God, YOU ARE THE GOVERNMENT!
Americans are allowing what it is that our forefathers did not allow. After all, if we want peace, then we must work for justice.
