Here’s What We All Can Learn From The Passion of the Christ

We all know Jesus died on the cross for our sins, but do we think much about how He suffered for our sins.  He was beaten and whipped. The Bible says in Isaiah 53:5 that “…He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.”

I watched the movie The Passion of the Christ and I learned many things.  Jesus was beaten and whipped everywhere. He died on the cross for our sins so we could be here right now and end up going to Heaven, but we need to repent (2 Peter 3:9) and trust in Him for the forgiveness of our sins. If you do not repent, you go to Hell.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Christians should want as many people to be saved as possible, that’s why we preach. My Dad preaches against the things of the world and against those who worship false idols and do bad things. Do you preach against bad things? If you don’t, you should.  All those who love God, preach against that which He hates.

Jesus died on the cross for the sins of men.  Sin is when you break God’s law, the 10 Commandments (I John 3:4).  Since Jesus died on the cross and we love Him because of it, we don’t want to break His laws. In fact, Jesus said in John 14:15, “If ye love Me, keep My commandments.”

You should love Jesus by what you do (I John 3:18) and by obeying His commands.

If you are really grateful that He died on the cross for you, you will live for Him.
