Hundreds More Protesters Return To St. Louis Armed Couple’s House To Protest Them Defending Their Private Property (Video)

Last week, I reported on the story of an armed couple that defended their private property and private community against dozens of trespassers and would be vandals. This week, the trespassers came back and this time there was more than 100 to protest the couple defending their private property.

Here’s the video of that encounter.

This is what happened this week.

The Associated Press has the story of what took place after that.

Several hundred protesters made a peaceful return trip Friday to the St. Louis mansion owned by a white couple whose armed defense of their home during an earlier demonstration earned them both scorn and support.

Protesters marched along the busy public boulevard called Kingshighway, which intersects with Portland Place, a private street that is the site of the Renaissance palazzo-style home of Mark McCloskey, 61, and his 63-year-old wife, Patricia.

Chanting protesters on Friday stopped at the gate just outside the McCloskeys’ home for about 15 minutes. The gate that closes the private street to non-residents and extra metal barriers blocked the entrance to Portland Place, where the protesters had walked earlier in the week on their way to the mayor’s home nearby.

Inside the gate, more than a dozen men in plain clothes walked the grounds and peered out from a second-floor balcony of the couple’s home. One protester briefly straddled an iron gate as if he was going to jump over, but did not. No one threw anything and no one behind the gates showed aggression. One man on the McCloskeys’ balcony clapped along with the chanting protesters.

These people are not at this couple’s home to protest their government for a redress of grievances.  They are there to intimidate and threaten, period.

Steve Watson adds:

The couple appear to have hired security personnel, as around a dozen ‘men in plain clothes’ were seen surrounding the property.

The footage shows the protesters chanting “If we don’t get no justice, then they don’t get no peace.”

Mark McCloskey was interviewed by Tucker Carlson last week, telling the host that he feared for his life during the first incident.

“I was literally afraid that within seconds they would surmount the wall, and come into the house, kill us, burn the house down and everything that I had worked for and struggled for for the last 32 years,” Mr McCloskey noted.

“I saw it all going up in flames, and my life destroyed in an instant. And I did what I thought I had to do to protect my hearth, my home and my family,” he urged.

In a further interview with CNN’s Chris Cuomo, McCloskey urged that the incident represents a ‘broader horrible picture of what’s going on in America right now’.

Police are investigating last week’s incident as a case of trespassing and fourth-degree assault by intimidation, according to the St. Louis Dispatch.

Clearly, a lot of this is not a “peaceful protest” any more than the intimidation tactics of the armed blacks marching on Stone Mountain, Georgia.

When are these people going to recognize who the real threat to them actually is?
