Yes, the deliberate dumbing down of America is on purpose and has been for more than 100 years in the united States. However, it was President Ronald Reagan who shifted it into high gear instead of abolishing the unconstitutional Department of Education established by President Jimmy Carter.
The Tenth Amendment Center’s Michael Boldin recently addressed the issue of ignorance in a video.
According to Boldin, “The founders knew what most ignore today: freedom has a prerequisite. KNOWLEDGE. Tyrants throughout history understood this – learning makes people argue instead of obey. From ancient Rome to feudal Europe to today, it’s the same playbook. Ban it. Control it. Lie about it. The question is: what are YOU going to do about it?”
I would add that even before knowledge, there must be an even more preeminent prerequisite: Know the Father, and His Son whom He sent, Jesus the Christ.
