Islam-defending Representative Al Green (D-TX) filed articles of impeachment against President Donald Trump on Wednesday, following by a tirade he delivered on the House floor.
However, instead of pushing for a vote on the resolution, Green simply went into an anti-Trump tirade, claiming that it was on behalf of all the people of America, which clearly is not the case.
“Today, I rise to use the constitutionally prescribed political process of impeachment to speak truth to the most powerful man on earth, the president of the United States of America,” Green said.
Green claims that Trump has betrayed “his trust as president” by embracing racism, something that is completely ridiculous considering Trump’s history. Anyone remember this woman?

Still, Green continues with his lying tongue saying that Trump could even be removed from office if he didn’t commit a crime.
“The public has been led to believe that a president must commit a crime to be impeached, which is not true,” Green said. “If any president persisted with the lie that ‘Hitler was right,’ he would be, and should be, impeached not for a crime, but for betraying his trust as president.”
Now, I have no idea what Green is getting at. When did Trump “persist with the lie that ‘Hitler was right'”?
Furthermore, what is the basis of Green’s articles of impeachment?
Apparently, it’s due to Trump exercising his right to free speech by speaking out against the NFL protests. By the way, those rights are protected for President Trump just like they are for Al Green, though Al Green is lying when he claims that a president can be impeached even when he hasn’t committed a crime.
According to Article 2, Section 4:
The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
The only basis for impeaching a president constitutionally is that he commits a crime, either treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors. So, I have no idea where Green is getting his information, but like most Democrats, it isn’t coming from the constitution.
Still, Green issued a statement on impeachment.
“I love my Country, I salute my Flag,” he stated. “I say the Pledge of Allegiance and I believe in liberty and justice for all as declared in the pledge.”
So? I ask, how many people do that and yet, they are opposed to the very principles our nation was founded upon? This is why I could care less about the outward manifestation of so-called patriotism. I care more about what you believe and act on regarding the substance of our foundations, which are grounded in the Bible.
“I also believe that to acquire liberty and justice for all, some must stand alone,” he added. “Like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., I believe that the ‘truest measure of a person is not where you stand in times of comfort and convenience,’ when the world is with you, but rather, where do you stand in times of challenge and controversy, when you may stand alone.”
Well, Green is neither standing with King nor is he taking a correct stand.
“Today, I rise to use the constitutionally prescribed political process of impeachment to speak truth to the most powerful man on earth, the President of the United States of America,” Green said.
As I pointed out above, Green’s approach is not constitutional and his own words rebuke him.
“I do so knowing that the public has been led to believe that a President must commit a crime to be impeached, which is not true,” he said, ignorant of what the Constitution clearly states above. “If any President persisted with the lie that ‘Hitler was right,’ he would be, and should be, impeached not for a crime, but for betraying his trust as President.”
While I don’t believe Hitler was right, that is a mere opinion and one that people should be cautious of. However, it is not a crime to hold that opinion.
“I do so knowing that many, of my contemporaries will criticize my actions,” Green continued. “Some will castigate me, others may desire to do something more dastardly with hopes of suppressing all embers of courage that might inflame others to speak truth to power or the powerful.”
There is no courage here nor is there any constitutionality. There is only hatred of President Trump, much like that of Maxine Waters.
“Ultimately, to again quote Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., I will do that which is ‘neither safe, nor politic, nor popular.'” he added. “I will do that which is right and let others do what they may and allow history to judge us all.”
Well, it is political for sure. It’s pretty safe as even establishment Republicans probably feel the same way as Green does. But it isn’t popular and it isn’t right.
I’ll not let history judge Green, but the Constitution.
And the Constitution says that Green is out of bounds here.
What’s amazing is that Green was utterly silent on the race baiting of Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah, the usurper that occupied the White House for eight years and whom black Sheriff David Clarke said that race relations under Obama were worse during the time Obama was in the White House than before he usurped the office.
Green isn’t the only one either.

Again, there was absolutely no evidence of the scandal.
Yet, both of these useful idiots said nothing during eight years of Obama and during the time that Hillary Clinton occupied the office of Secretary of State. They were complicit in all their crimes, among which over one thousand have been documented concerning Obama.
