Islamic State Take Credit for Americans Killed In Syria Attack After House Terrorism Panel Abolished

Welcome to the new world of Democrats being in charge of who defines “terrorism.”  After all, Democrats are happy to defend the indefensible Islamists in the US, why not across the world?  Meanwhile, they are all about going after “rightwing extremism,” which isn’t even a blip on the radar.  Yet, in a deadly attack that killed four Americans, including two US service members in Syria, it just goes to show what kind of world we are are in for as Democrats now control the House of Representatives.

The attack comes just two weeks after new House Foreign Affairs Committee Chairman Eliot Engel (D-N.Y.) abolished a key subcommittee on terrorism.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The Islamic State, which President Donald Trump tells us is about 99 percent annihilated, claimed responsibility for the attack.

Apparently, they are not fully annihilated.

The Epoch Times reports:

Engel’s first official act as chairman on Jan. 3, when Democrats officially regained the House majority, was replacing the terrorism subcommittee with one focused on investigating President Donald Trump.

Engel justified the move because “there wasn’t a great clamor” to continue the terrorism panel, formerly known officially as the Subcommittee on Terrorism, Proliferation, and Trade. It was one of the panel’s busiest subcommittees under Engel’s predecessor, Rep. Ed Royce (R-Calif.).

“We just thought, if we’re going to do something relevant in this era where Congress is going to reassert itself, where there are so many questionable activities of this administration vis-à-vis foreign policy, that it made sense to have this,” Engel told The New Yorker….

Robert Spencer, the founder of Jihad Watch, an advocacy group that documents Islamic terrorism, told The Epoch Times he doubts Engel will change course on the abolished subcommittee as a result of the U.S. bloodshed in Syria.

“No jihad terror attacks, or even a proliferation of jihad terror attacks, will convince Eliot Engel and his ilk that jihad terror is a problem that must be addressed,” Spencer said.

The foreign affairs chairman, like other Democratic leaders, Spencer said, “is focused mono-maniacally on destroying Trump. Every other issue must take a back seat to that.”…

Now, with that said, I find it ironic the timing of the murders.  I am all for Trump pulling out of Syria, but considering the fact that his Deep State and swamp creature warmongering advisors and such continue to claim that he is wrong for doing so, it is a right move.  However, as Pastor Chuck Balwin has written, things are not always what they appear to be.

Most of the U.S. forces (5,000+) fighting in Syria are actually based in Iraq. And as Trump assured them, they are not going anywhere, in spite of the fact that Iraqi lawmakers have demanded that the U.S. leave their country. So, those anti-establishment Trumpites who think that The Donald has fulfilled some kind of anti-war campaign promise and is “sticking it” to the Deep State have yet again fallen victim to one of Trump’s masterful con jobs.

As Trump was telling the world that he is withdrawing U.S. forces from Syria, the U.S. Army was in the process of building two brand new bases in the Anbar province, less than 100 kilometers from the Syrian border.

And theTimes of Israel reported that after holding extensive meetings with President Trump, ultra-globalist war hawk Senator Lindsey Graham gleefully ensured that Trump is NOT going to abandon the Syrian theater.

So, is this just something else that can be an excuse to continue in unconstitutional use of our military in foreign countries to enrich special interests, including the military industrial complex?  It certainly seems that it might just be that.
