Is Jeff Sessions Serious About “Doing His Job” Investigating Barack Obama & Hillary Clinton?

I have to tell you that I have zero confidence in Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ claim that the Department of Justice will do their job in investigating the crimes of Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah and Hillary Clinton.

Sessions appeared in an interview with Maria Bartiromo of Fox News to discuss an investigation into Hillary Clinton’s illegal email server and the FISA warrant obtained by the Obama administration that was used to spy on then-candidate Donald Trump.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Now, first, I have to ask why there needs to be another investigation into the Clinton email server.  Clearly, she broke the law.  This so-called investigation is nothing more than a dog and pony show.  The investigation has already been done, and James Comey covered it up and let her off the hook.

As for the FISA warrant and how it was obtained, we have lots of information already.  Perhaps that has not thoroughly been investigated, but just remember this is the same Jeff Sessions who sounded all constitutional when calling out Obama’s former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta about the illegal actions of the Obama administration when it came to Libya but did nothing about it.

Here’s the interview:

“So you feel there are matters you can get into, for example, there’s a lot of feeling out there that the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation was a sham,” said Bartiromo.  “Loretta Lynch told Jim Comey to call it a matter and that’s exactly what he did. In fact, it was a criminal investigation; we know that he wrote an exoneration letter Jim Comey did before he even did the interview with Hillary Clinton. What have you learned in terms of the opening reopening of the Hillary Clinton e-mail investigation? Will there be charges? Will there be accountability here sir?”

Sessions answered, “We’re going to do our job in his department properly and correctly, and I’m not going to be led into a discussion of all the details of matters that you might be interested in. We can’t do that in the media we’re going to restore the rule of law, we’re to restore propriety in how cases are managed and that’s all I can promise you.”

Oh, promises, promises, Jeff.

She went on to ask if Sessions regretted recusing himself from anything involving Russia.

“I believe I did the right thing, they only thing I could do,” he said.  “I participated in this campaign and as such under explicit regulations of the Department of Justice; no one can participate in the investigation of a campaign in which they were an active participant.”

Sessions was then asked about the investigation into the FISA warrant application submitted by the Obama administration based on an unreliable dossier funded by Hillary Clinton.
“Are you, sir, investigating the fact that the FBI used the dossier to get a wiretap against Trump associates and they did not tell the FISA Court that the Democrats and Hillary Clinton paid for that dossier?” Bartiromo asked.

“Every FISA warrant based on facts submitted to that court have to be accurate,” said Sessions.  “That will be investigated and looked at, and we are not going to participate at the Department of Justice in providing anything less than the proper disclosure to the court before they issue a FISA warrant. Other than that, I’m not going to talk about the details of it, but I tell you we’re not going to allow that to happen.”

Don’t hold your breath people.  This is nothing more than political theater.  Watch, nothing will come of this and we all know it.  If I’m wrong on this, I’ll be happy to correct myself here, but given past history with these characters, I’m not expecting anything to come of it.
