Judge Strikes Reference to Hamas-CAIR’s Terror Ties In School Lawsuit

You are witnessing more of how the Sharia is working its way into the US judiciary system, and it’s deceptive, just like the ideology behind it, Islam.

In a report from WND, it appears that the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) is continuing to try to infest the area of San Diego and work to illegally indoctrinate the children of the city into Islam.

…when parents suing the San Diego Unified School District for its alliance with CAIR in an anti-bullying and “anti-Islamophobia” program inserted a reference to CAIR’s terrorist ties in their complaint, a federal judge objected.

San Diego school officials complained that the citation of CAIR’s formation by Hamas operatives in the United States as a propaganda organ and the fact that more than a dozen former CAIR figures have been charged with terrorism-related crimes is “impertinent, immaterial and scandalous,” designed only to “inflame the public,” reported the Investigative Project on Terrorism, IPT.

U.S. District Judge Cynthia Bashant agreed, striking references to CAIR’s radical ties because they are “likely intended to ‘besmirch’ Defendants and cast them in a derogatory light based on SDUSD’s relationship with CAIR.”

As WND reported, parents, represented by the Freedom of Conscience Defense Fund, or FCDF, sued San Diego schools last May over the “anti-Islamophobia” campaign, which featured curriculum and materials published by CAIR. FCDF later revised its complaint to focus on CAIR’s radical Islamic origin. The complaint asserted the school district’s partnership with CAIR violated the First Amendment’s Establishment Clause, the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment and California law.

Under pressure from the lawsuit, the school board voted in July to stop its formal partnership with CAIR, directing staff instead to form a partnership with the Anti-Defamation League “to assist in creating respectful, inclusive and safe learning environments and communities.”

But FCDF continued with the suit, expressing concern that CAIR might partner with the school district on other programs.

The complaint points out that the FBI cut off non-investigative contact with CAIR in 2008. The bureau, at the time, explained that “until we can resolve whether there continues to be a connection between CAIR or its executives and Hamas, the FBI does not view CAIR as an appropriate liaison partner.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

The fight against CAIR and Islam indoctrination in San Diego has been going on for some time now.  San Diego is Ground Zero for Islamic indoctrination in public schools.

Just prior to the severing of ties with CAIR, parents voiced outrage that the school system would partner with these criminals.

One father, Christopher Wyrick, told the board he’s held “many titles” over the years, but “one of them I will not accept is ‘infidel.’”

“There has been an argument over the years to keep religious beliefs out of school, especially any that happen to be associated with Judaism or Christianity,” he said during a meeting in April 2017. “So at what point did you decide that it was OK to teach my children about Islam?”

“How does your board justify spending our tax dollars on a program that’s meant to educate our kids on the Muslim religion specifically, yet only accounts for a very, very small portion of the harassment reported?” he asked.

Though the San Diego Unified School District issued a buzzer and told Wyrick that his time was up, he ignored them and it appeared that police officers were about to escort him out, he ended his speech by saying, “You guys are hypocrites, and you guys should protect your children.”

While I disagree with the teaching of religion, as the Christian religion has a rich history in our education system and when that began to be abandoned, things began going faster downhill in the schools and in America, I do agree that the anti-Christian and anti-American religion of Islam has no place in education nor in our society.

It’s really a shame that the Muslim Brotherhood-tied organization, which has been designated a terror group by the United Arab Emirates and which even Canada agrees that the US is right in attempting to label them a terror organization, is even a part of American society.

The evidence against CAIR that it has been supportive of Hamas, another Islamic terror group, is overwhelming.  Back in 2012, Pamela Geller documented how CAIR was created by the Muslim Brotherhood, along with several other front groups in America, to support Hamas and promote the inclusion of Islam into US society.

In 2008, the U.S. government filed a memorandum in opposition to the request from two of the groups linked to the HLF, the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) and the North American Islamic Trust (NAIT), that the “unindicted co-conspirator” designation they received during the HLF trial be removed (it wasn’t). The memorandum is a useful and illuminating summary of what some of the most prominent Islamic groups in the U.S. have been involved with.

It noted that some of HLF’s top officials, including Shukri Abu Baker, its secretary and chief executive officer; Mohammed El-Mezain, its director of endowments; and Ghassan Elashi, its chairman of the board, were charged with “providing material support to a foreign terrorist organization,” as well as with “engaging in prohibited financial transactions with a Specially Designated Global Terrorist, money laundering, filing false tax returns, and several conspiracy charges, including: conspiracy to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization…conspiracy to provide funds, goods and services to Specially Designated Global Terrorist … and conspiracy to commit money laundering[.]”

And the HLF officials “were not acting alone.” Rather, they were “operating in concert with a host of individuals and organizations dedicated to sustaining and furthering the Hamas movement. … The object of the conspiracy was to support Hamas. The support will be shown to have take several forms, including raising money, propaganda, proselytizing, recruiting, as well as many other types of actions intended to continue to promote and move forward Hamas’s agenda of the destruction of the State of Israel and establishment of an Islamic state in its place.”

ISNA and NAIT were among the groups listed as “members of the U.S. Muslim Brotherhood.” During the trial, the government introduced evidence “expressly linking ISNA and NAIT to the HLF and its principals; the Islamic Association for Palestine and its principals; the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States and its Palestine Committee, headed by Hamas official Mousa Abu Marzook; and the greater Hamas-affiliated conspiracy described in the Government’s case-in-chief.” The Islamic Association for Palestine, since shut down as a Hamas front, is CAIR’s parent organization.

The evidence introduced at the trial “established that ISNA and NAIT were among those organizations created by the U.S.-Muslim Brotherhood.” They were listed as among those organizations dedicated to the Muslim Brotherhood’s stated goal, according to a captured internal document made public during the HLF trial, of “eliminating and destroying the Western Civilization from within and sabotaging its miserable house by their hands and the hands of the believers so that it is eliminated and Allah’s religion is made victorious over other religions.”

The government memorandum explains that ISNA and NAIT “shared more with HLF than just a parent organization. They were intimately connected with the HLF and its assigned task of providing financial support to Hamas. Shortly after Hamas was founded in 1987, as an outgrowth of the Muslim Brotherhood, Govt. Exh. 21-61, the International Muslim Brotherhood ordered the Muslim Brotherhood chapters throughout the world to create Palestine Committees, whose job it was to support Hamas with ‘media, money and men.'” To accomplish this, the Muslim Brotherhood in the U.S. created the U.S. Palestine Committee, which CAIR later joined. “The mandate of these organizations, per the International Muslim Brotherhood, was to support Hamas, and the HLF’s particular role was to raise money to support Hamas’ organizations inside the Palestinian territories.”

The memorandum adds that “during the early years of the HLF’s operation, HLF raised money and supported Hamas through a bank account it held with ISNA at NAIT” and that “ISNA checks deposited into the ISNA/NAIT account for the HLF were often made payable to ‘the Palestinian Mujahadeen,’ the original name for the Hamas military wing.” That is, the money went to Islamic jihadists dedicated to murdering Israeli civilians.

Despite all this, the Holy Land Five have become the latest darlings of the America-hating left and their Islamic supremacist allies in the U.S. Al-Awda, the “Palestine Right to Return Coalition,” held a demonstration on October 25, four days before the Supreme Court ruling, in honor of these jihadists, and called them “victims to the ever-growing over-reach of counter-terrorism programs.”

Furthermore, their ties to terrorism are very clear, including their being an unindicted co-conspirator in the largest terror funding scheme in US history.

While some think Islam, the Muslim Brotherhood and its front groups are harmless and promoters of peace, Christine Douglass-Williams points out:

CAIR presents itself publicly as a freedom-loving, inclusive organization, when its real mission was long ago exposed by two of its foremost figures, Omar Ahmad and Ibrahim Hooper. Ahmad told a California audience in 1998 that “Islam isn’t in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran … should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth.” Hooper stated five years before that: “I wouldn’t want to IR create the impression that I wouldn’t like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.”

CAIR is the same organization, whose Executive Director of the Dallas-Ft. Worth CAIR, Mustafaa Carroll, declared, “If we are practicing Muslims, we are above the law of the land.”

Now, why in the world would anyone think that an organization that thinks these things and has no shame in the promotion of a demonic religion that is anti-American and anti-Christian be ok to partner with America’s school systems to indoctrinate our children?
