Little-Known FACT: Nord Stream REPAIRS Were Happening Back in JULY, Well BEFORE The Explosions…

It’s very difficult for me to write without injecting my opinions, so I will try to keep those to a minimum today. How many people realize that the Nord Stream pipeline was already damaged and desperate maintenance was already being done BEFORE the explosions?

Canada sent help back in July, about a month and a half before the explosions. Let’s stay out of the ole rabbit hole today and try to focus on facts.

From EnergyNow.ca, July 18, 2022:

Canada sends repaired Nord Stream turbine to Germany, Kommersant reports

MOSCOW, July 18 (Reuters) – Canada sent a turbine for the Nord Stream gas pipeline to Germany by plane on July 17 after repair work had been completed, Kommersant newspaper reported on Monday, citing people familiar with the situation.

The return of the turbine from Canada to the Russian Portovaya compressor station, a crucial element of Nord Stream, has been in focus for the past month since Russian energy producer Gazprom (GAZP.MM) reduced gas supplies to Germany.

Europe has experienced a reduction in Russian gas supplies amid already soaring energy costs and broader inflation after what Moscow calls a “special military operation” in Ukraine prompted sweeping Western sanctions against Russia.

Nord Stream 1 is currently undergoing planned annual maintenance, which is due to be completed on July 21 and has completely halted flows.

However, there are fears Russia could extend the work period, throwing plans to fill European gas storage for winter into disarray and heightening a crisis that has prompted emergency measures from governments and painfully high bills for consumers. read more

It will take another five to seven days for the turbine, serviced by Germany’s Siemens Energy (ENR1n.DE) to reach Russia if there are no problems with logistics and customs, Kommersant reported.

The daily said the turbine will be sent from Germany by ferry and then transported by land via Helsinki. The equipment is expected to arrive in Russia around July 24, with preparation work taking another three to four days, the paper reported.

Ironic isn’t it? Our Northern neighbors were already helping repair a damaged pipeline in need of repair. Yes, MY first thought was that Biden and American allies may have blown it up but never are things as simple as they seem.

That link about Germany halting the project is from back in February 2022 but it clearly shows that politics have been on display for months in regards to Nord Stream. Weird stuff folks. I’m an old school journalist who digs for truth and sometimes I am disappointed as to where it leads me. Sometimes the truth does not seem to match MY opinion. Geez you mean I’m not perfect? Yep guilty as charged but I do try to get to the truth and always will.

Back to actual news as promised.

So Are They Trying to fix it or just using the incident for more political fuel? If your septic tank goes out you call a repairman and worry later about why it went out. Correct? It’s common sense.

First let’s hear directly from the builders… Via Nord Stream:

Pipeline repairs are not expected to be necessary during Nord Stream’s minimum operational lifespan of 50 years. Owing to the high quality of the materials involved and the conservative design of the pipelines, damage and deformation are highly unlikely. In fact, the probability of pipeline failure or leakage is as low as one damage event every 100,000 years. Nevertheless, Nord Stream is ready for any situation as part of overseeing its certified system.

When it comes to gas transportation, different international bodies regulate health, safety and environmental performance. On top of all of these is the gold standard from the Norwegian certification body Det Norske Veritas (DNV), which specialises in risk management. Nord Stream is certified to DNV’s F101 offshore pipeline standard. READ MORE…

Looks like they were wrong OR there really was a deliberate damaging of the pipeline, but again please remember that maintenance was already under way with Canada’s help.

So how long will repairs take and can it even be repaired? Again, if Nord Stream was the Septic tank in your back yard we’d already know this and this would be your first priority. You’d blame your husband later for destroying it. Right?

From Bloomberg:

Russia’s Novak Says Possible to Repair Nord Stream Pipelines

It should be technically possible to repair undersea ruptures to the Nord Stream pipelines, Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said Sunday, according to the Tass news agency.

“There have never been such incidents. Of course, there are technical possibilities to restore the infrastructure, it takes time and appropriate funds,” Novak said. “I am sure that appropriate possibilities will be found.”

There’s been doubt on whether it’s possible to repair the structures that traverse the Baltic Sea to Germany from Russia. Four leaks have been identified.

On Friday, Russian President Vladimir Putin blamed “Anglo-Saxons” for the damage, after underwater eruptions in late September crippled the key pipelines.

Others, including US President Joe Biden, have said Moscow was to blame as part of its efforts to manipulate energy supplies to Europe. “It was a deliberate act of sabotage. And now the Russians are pumping out disinformation and lies,” Biden told reporters Friday at the White House.

Again, Putin and Biden are focused on who is to blame while others are looking at a possible fix to the problem.

From TASS…

Nord Stream repair may take at least six months, says lawmaker

YUZHNO-SAHALINSK, September 29. /TASS/. Repairing the ruptures that occurred on the lines of the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines may take more than six months, Pavel Zavalny, who heads the State Duma’s (lower house) Committee on Energy, believes.

In his opinion, there are two ways to fix the damage: making a caisson (a watertight chamber used in underwater construction work or as a foundation – TASS), or hoisting the gas pipelines to the surface. MORE…

Again this is rather annoying folks. As Europeans will fight to stay warm this winter, fixing this pipeline should be priority #1. As Biden and Putin, et al, fire back and forth and play the “blame game,” very few are focused on actually fixing the pipeline.

As we covered earlier, repairs were already happening BEFORE the explosions and now they act like it is more important to point fingers than to save those who may freeze to death this winter without that gas.

This is why I hate politics. It hasn’t been about serving people for years. It is more about pushing agendas and gaining more power.

If you or I were in the Oval Office, our first concern would be in aiding Europe and fixing that damn pipeline. Shame on Biden and Putin for putting politics before people.

Make no mistake. It’s common sense that something could have gone wrong with repairs that were already happening before the explosion but you won’t hear or read that in the mainstream news folks. Welcome to The REAL Matrix.

God Bless You ALL and Please Pray because God can fix what we can not.
