Minnesota Women Threatened With Arrest As They Protest New AG Keith Ellison

The Minnesota State Patrol threatened a group of women on November 1, in Bloomington, Minnesota. The group was peacefully protesting and carrying several large Ellison signs on the Highway I-494 overpass being careful to secure the signs between the chain-link fence and the bridge structure.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Their message about the DFL Attorney General candidate was clear: Ellison has credible accusations of abuse and is unfit to be Minnesota’s Top Cop. The words, complete with hashtag #ByeByeKeith apparently triggered enough liberals, who in turn called law enforcement.  You know…the same liberals who often protest against police in their support of Ellison, who has defended cop killers.

“You aren’t allowed to be up here,” the officer said. “We don’t want any accidents.” Michele Even, one of the women who was protesting, politely informed the officer that the sign was not affixed to the bridge, and that the group had been peacefully protesting on various bridges throughout the Twin Cities for a number of weeks without incident. “I’ll be back with the statute”, said the officer.

Here is what happened according to the “Deplorable Housewives”.

“You aren’t allowed to be up here,” said the officer. “We don’t want any accidents.” Michele Even, leader and spokeswoman for the group of conservatives, politely informed the officer that the signs were not affixed to the bridge and the group has been protesting on various bridges throughout the Twin Cities for a number of weeks without incident. “I’ll be back with the statute,” said the officer as he left.

Thinking that all was well, the group focused on the task at hand – defeating Keith Ellison. A few minutes later, a different officer approached the group from the opposite side of the bridge. “You can’t affix signs to the bridge,” said the officer. Once again, Michele sprang into action, telling the officer the signs were not affixed to the bridge and they would stay. Meanwhile, the officer that had first approached the group returned. The group was now sandwiched between two state patrolmen.

“Take the signs down and hold them or we are going to arrest you and take you to jail.” Under the threat of arrest, this law abiding group of citizens exercising their First Amendment rights were forced to remove the signs and hold them.”

Now that Keith Ellison is the new Minnesota Attorney General, and his colleague Ilhan Omar, a Somali immigrant, Sharia blasphemy laws may in fact become the law of the land.

The Deplorable Housewives were on the bridge and caught the entire exchange on video. Take a look!
