Miss America to Hillary Clinton: “All of Your Actions are Held to a Higher Standard!”

Miss Arkansas, Savvy Shields, was crowned Miss America 2017 earlier this week.

Before she won, Shields was asked about her opinion of “Hillary Rodham Clinton.”

She answered, on national television, that Hillary Clinton, and anyone else who wants to be the “Leader of the Free World” should “watch what they’re doing.”

“If you’re trying to be leader of the free world, everything you say and do matters, and all of your actions are held to a higher standard.”

While mentioning that the presidential candidates had done a “great job at competing,” she added that the fact that the candidates are in the spotlight 24/7 means that Hillary Clinton needed to watch what she’s doing.

Interesting perspective from a pageant contestant.
