Now That We Know What The Bad Guys Are Doing, What Are The Good Guys Doing In Response? Magnifying The Bad Guys – How Ungodly And Un-American
As Benjamin Franklin has rightly stated: “It is the religion of ignorance that tyranny begins!”
Edmund Burke said, “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.” I am here to tell you that there is nothing further from the truth. Good men do not allow evil to prevail because good men do not tolerate the moral evils of men (Deuteronomy 19:19).
Where is this coming from? Noah Webster said, “All the miseries and evils which men suffer from vice, crime, ambition, injustice, oppression, slavery and war, proceed from their despising or neglecting the precepts contained in the Bible.”
Do you see? Americans have been taught today to magnify the crime against the law, rather than the law against the crimes (Romans 3:20; Deuteronomy 25:1).
All day long, we are inundated with the crimes of politicians, repeat criminals that have been set free from jail only to commit another crime on another day.
What do the self-proclaimed Christians and conservatives do? They magnify the actions of the bad guys while exhibiting their inaction in lawfully dealing with them (Matthew 5:13).
The good guys, which we are hearing much of this today, are watching the bad guys commit the crimes without consequence. This makes them wicked men and accomplices to the crimes which they tolerate.
“They that forsake the law praise the wicked: but such as keep the law contend with them. Evil men understand not judgment: but they that seek the LORD understand all things.” -Proverbs 28:4-5
Friends, soft judges do, in fact, create hardened criminals. The Bible does not teach us to overlook the evils of men. It teaches us to judge them and so does common sense. It is our wisdom in the sight of the nations (Deuteronomy 4:5-6).
I can just hear a biblically illiterate ones say, even while reading this, “Thou shalt not judge!”
I am here to tell you that Americans are in trouble today because American Christians are no longer rightly judging.
This is a lack of love toward God and their fellow man (1John 2:3, 5:3)
Furthermore, I am giving you the Judge’s Word, and on the other hand, please do not forget that justice guards American liberties. Friends, justice is what is missing from our culture today (Psalm 9:16). This is what is destroying America today!
Justice is what makes any country great (Acts 10:35).
As a matter of fact, Americans have taken on more of a false version of mercy in dealing with the morally evil and showing them a false sense of compassion in showing a lack of compassion to the victims of their evils. This is completely backwards and upside down (Isaiah 59). This, of course, comes into play when a people have forgotten God and His moral law (Exodus 20; Matthew 24:12). This applies to individuals as it does nations.
Let’s put it into a biblical and constitutional perspective (Proverbs 7:2).
Because I love my brother-sister, I do not tolerate their sin (To depart voluntarily from the path of duty prescribed by God; Transgression of Gods moral law; Leviticus 19:17; 2 Timothy 3:16).
When God’s laws are written upon our hearts and our minds (Hebrews 10:16), we then understand the Lord’s righteous judgments (Deuteronomy 4:6; Isaiah 51:4; Amos 5:15; John 7:24), and by establishing righteousness and peace (Psalm 85:10), we then deter the evils of men by teaching them the consequences of their crimes through judgment (Proverbs 16:6), which is then a mercy to the innocent by dealing with the evil.
In understanding all of this, what then are the good men doing today instead of magnifying and tolerating the crimes of the evil? Good does not tolerate evil!
