Nuclear War Is Good, Nazis Aren’t Bad, & The Economy Isn’t In Trouble — According To Corporate Media

The corporate media in the West has successfully convinced a significant portion of the population to embrace self-destruction.

If you get all of your information from establishment media sources, chances are you have a Ukraine flag in your social media bio. You also likely accuse anyone who questions the billions of taxpayer dollars flowing to Ukraine — of being a “Russian agent.” You likely think that this war in Ukraine was unprovoked, Vladimir Putin is hellbent on world domination, and if we don’t spend our last dime and resource fighting him, the entire world will fall to Russia.

If you solely digest corporate media, you likely think that the Azov battalion, which has received billions in US taxpayer-funded weapons, is a group of freedom-fighting heroes, who respect diversity, equality, and liberty for all. You will likely challenge anyone who points out their literal ties to Nazis and quickly write them off as “Russian agents.”

If you only watch FOXSNBCNN or only read WAPOTIMES, you likely think these things because it is the job of these outlets to make you think these things. For those of us who choose to live in reality, however, this war and the history around why it started is far more complicated than “Russia bad, Ukraine good.”

Unfortunately, many people are not based in reality and easily succumb to the perverse propaganda which flows from these outlets 24 hours a day. Unfortunately, this apparatus of mind control has convinced many Americans that neo-Nazis are good, stoking a potentially catastrophic nuclear war with Russia is necessary, and the billions we are sending to that region to fund these things, have no effect on our economy.

Below are just a few recent examples of this programming by the corporate press which is being used to dupe Americans into supporting a war with Russia that could turn nuclear at any moment.

Right off the bat, the establishment, beginning with the president himself, began the narrative that the war was “unprovoked.”

“The Russian military has begun a brutal assault on the people of Ukraine without provocation, without justification, without necessity,” President Joe Biden said in February. This is a complete lie.

In 1990, as the collapse of the Soviet Union unfolded, NATO along with the United States made agreements and promises to Russia, not to expand its territory.

“We understand that not only for the Soviet Union but for other European countries as well it is important to have guarantees,” then-US Secretary of State James Baker told Mikhail Gorbachev in 1990. “If the United States keeps its presence in Germany within the framework of NATO, not an inch of NATO’s present military jurisdiction will spread in an eastern direction.”

Following that promise, the United States and NATO proceeded to do the exact opposite. Those who have been paying attention, have seen this crisis in Ukraine unfolding for well over two decades as the US moved weapons systems on Russia’s border and surrounded its western side with NATO countries.

After the increasing provocation, on February 24, 2022, it came to a head as Russia’s dictator, Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine.

Yes, it is true that Putin’s invasion of Ukraine is horrific — but this does not negate the fact that it is also true that the West and NATO knew their actions would eventually cause this. Since the US promised not to expand toward Russia in 1990, the only thing they did was expand. And this expansion included weapons systems placed on the border of Russia that could strike their country in minutes.

Imagine if the roles were reversed and Russia was placing weapons systems in Canada. If the US invaded Canada to remove these weapons systems, would this be unprovoked?

What about the “heroic” Azov battalion? Recently, the establishment media have been praising the Azov regime, holding them up as selfless heroes devoted to the cause of freedom.

Before the war, however, that narrative was entirely different and the NY Times had no problem stating the facts when it called the Azov battalion “openly neo-Nazi.”

Now, however, they don’t want you questioning the billions of dollars we are giving to a bunch of Nazis, so the narrative has changed from “Nazi” to “hero.”

This programming of the masses now has Americans cheerleading the West into a potentially catastrophic nuclear war that could wipe out life on Earth as we know it. If you stand for peace and attempt to prevent this impending nuclear holocaust, thanks to the corporate media programming, this stance has you labeled as an agent of Putin.

We now have alleged climate activists, completely ignoring the facts, and supporting US intervention in Ukraine which presents the largest potentially-cataclysmic threat to the environment in perhaps all of human history.

While the media tells you to support Nazis, chastise those who push for peace, and help to usher in a nuclear winter, they also need you to forget about the money it costs to continue this mission. These tens of billions of dollars have to come from somewhere, which drives up taxes and drives down the value of the dollar through inflation — subsequently making everyone poorer.

But you can’t think of that, so fret not consumers of corporate media, “Biden’s Economy Has the Best Growth Record Since Clinton,” according to the WaPo, and there is no need to worry. We just need to leave this mess in the hands of the folks who have “successfully” navigated us through other “cakewalks” like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Vietnam.

If the establishment actually believed these lies they are feeding the American people, perhaps they wouldn’t be so sinister. But that is simply not the case and these psychopaths at the helm seem to know exactly where we are headed. Why else would the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services just make a $290 million purchase of anti-radiation drugs for use in “nuclear emergencies”? Just in case?
