NYT Anonymous Op-Ed Admits Subversion
If you haven’t read the anonymous Op-Ed in The New York Times from an inside source admitting there are individuals inside the Trump administration deliberately thwarting the president’s agenda, the letter in full can be read at ZeroHedge.com and is a “must read” for everyone, particularly constitutionalists, in this republic. The issue regarding “anonymous sources” used by the lamestream entertainment enemedia is the difficulty in confirming if what the source reveals is truth or whether the information is part of the propagandizing of the American public. Furthermore, this “source” chooses to reveal the acts of subversion occurring inside the administration during the mid-term election cycle.
Let’s examine a few passages in the letter, which is broad in its message; but, it confirms, openly, there is definitely a “Deep State” and “Shadow Government” that Kevin Shipp has been speaking about now for years. Take the time to watch his videos and read his book. The information is priceless.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
From ZeroHedge.com:
I Am Part of the Resistance Inside the Trump Administration
President Trump is facing a test to his presidency unlike any faced by a modern American leader.
It’s not just that the special counsel looms large. Or that the country is bitterly divided over Mr. Trump’s leadership. Or even that his party might well lose the House to an opposition hellbent on his downfall.
The dilemma — which he does not fully grasp — is that many of the senior officials in his own administration are working diligently from within to frustrate parts of his agenda and his worst inclinations.
I would know. I am one of them.
This passage confirms there are individuals inside the administration intent on subverting the constitutionally elected President. Remember, the Electoral College selects the president, not the popular vote of the people (Article II. Section 1, paragraph 2 of the Constitution for the united States of America). The source admits there is opposition to Trump intent on removing him from office. And, while the source admits “senior officials” in his administration are working in opposition to “his agenda and his worst inclinations,” “anonymous” never identifies what parts of the agenda are being subverted nor what “his worst inclinations” include. For all anyone knows, this individual could be part of the opposition focused on removing Trump from the presidency and hastening his downfall.
Worst of all, this could be another “Steele dossier,” released at an appropriate time in order to swing the mid-term elections in favor of the emerging “stars” in the Democratic Socialist Party, aka the Democrat Party.
To be clear, ours is not the popular “resistance” of the left. We want the administration to succeed and think that many of its policies have already made America safer and more prosperous.
But we believe our first duty is to this country, and the president continues to act in a manner that is detrimental to the health of our republic.
That is why many Trump appointees have vowed to do what we can to preserve our democratic institutions while thwarting Mr. Trump’s more misguided impulses until he is out of office.
The root of the problem is the president’s amorality. Anyone who works with him knows he is not moored to any discernible first principles that guide his decision making.
This “anonymous” purposefully declares the subversion occurring in the administration is not “the popular ‘resistance’ of the left.” It shifts the blame from the groups of anti-constitutionalists wreaking havoc on the streets through violent protests, aka the “popular resistance of the left”, to either “the right” or fringe cult-like anti-constitutionalists that have invaded the political arena with very specific intent – removing Trump from office. However, this source admits many of Trump’s policies have had positive results on the republic.
Again, the “source” never indicates what is happening that is “detrimental to the health of our republic”, what “democratic institutions” need preserving, nor what “misguided impulses” Trump has exhibited that would lend more reliability to these statements. Not surprisingly, “anonymous” declares the “root of the problem is the presidents’ amorality.” That is the pot calling the kettle black, regardless of which side of the aisle this originates. The entire Congressional roster, both House and Senate, are full of individuals exhibiting “amorality.” Although the “source” states Trump is not grounded in any “discernible first principles” that guide decision-making, everyone has different “discernible first principles.” For Christians, the first principles are God’s law. But, since this individual does not declare those principles, the generalization allows for broad interpretation, which could range from God’s law to the self-evident truths found in the Declaration of Independence to the communist principles of Saul Alinsky.
Although he was elected as a Republican, the president shows little affinity for ideals long espoused by conservatives: free minds, free markets and free people. At best, he has invoked these ideals in scripted settings. At worst, he has attacked them outright.
In addition to his mass-marketing of the notion that the press is the “enemy of the people,” President Trump’s impulses are generally anti-trade and anti-democratic.
Don’t get me wrong. There are bright spots that the near-ceaseless negative coverage of the administration fails to capture: effective deregulation, historic tax reform, a more robust military and more.
But these successes have come despite — not because of — the president’s leadership style, which is impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective.
From the White House to executive branch departments and agencies, senior officials will privately admit their daily disbelief at the commander in chief’s comments and actions. Most are working to insulate their operations from his whims.
Here, the “source” highlights the concern of many with Trump, beginning when he was on the campaign trail. While his campaign platform read and sounded quite conservative and constitutional, many individuals questioned some portions of it that were not and his veering from that platform, at times, on the campaign trail. Constitutionalists warned about these deviations. Red flags were raised when Trump supported more gun control laws in violation of the Second Amendment and the removal of due process concerning gun confiscation. Others warned about his “repeal and replace” of Obamacare. Obamacare is and remains unconstitutional. Any new health insurance scheme by Trump and/or Republicans to “replace” Obamacare is unconstitutional as well. It’s easy for this “anonymous source” to make generalities, but specific examples would lend more credibility to the assertations.
Interesting the source would mention the portrayal of the lamestream entertainment enemedia as “the enemy of the people,” as though that isn’t true and an example of his impulsiveness. The failure of the “mainstream media” to broadcast factual unbiased news to the people, particularly during the Obama administration, gave rise to the “alternative media.” The next statement by “anonymous” admits the press has presented “near-ceaseless negative coverage of the administration”; but, the “source” fails to cite the numerous examples of “fake news” perpetrated by some news outlets. Moreover, “anonymous” does not acknowledge the behind the scenes player determining what is presented by the news organizations to the American public – namely the CIA and other members of the “Deep State/Shadow Government.”
This individual claims the successes the Trump administration has achieved is not due to Trump, who the “source” identifies as “impetuous, adversarial, petty and ineffective, but to those in the administration, including department heads and agencies’ personnel working to subvert the President while insulating their departments from his “whims.” The best example of these “rogue department heads and agency personnel” thwarting the president has to do with the failure to enforce immigration law and continue with the illegal, unconstitutional policies of Barack Hussein Obama Soetoro Sobarkah.
It is hypocritical to speak about the president not sharing “conservative principles” contributing to “free minds, free markets and free people” and being “anti-trade and anti-democratic” when bragging about subverting the constitutional process by “insulating operations from his whims.” In essence, departments and agencies under the executive branch are working to ensure the president cannot “make sure the laws are faithfully executed” and setting a precedent to work independently of the executive, removing a portion of the “checks and balances” process so important to a republic.
“Anonymous” goes on to declare those subverting the president as “unsung heroes in and around the White House.” Then, this “source” goes into detail on foreign policy concerning Russia, North Korea and US “allies.” Just like declaring these individuals’ actions are “not the ‘popular’ resistance of the left,” the source declares, this is not the work of the Deep State, but the steady state. What “steady state”? A steady state would be one that follows the constitution, which no one in Washington, DC, has done for quite some time.
Never fear, these tireless “unsung heroes in and around the White House” have your back until the Trump presidency is over, steering the administration in “the right direction.” Again, what is the “right direction?” It is left to interpretation and has already been established by these self-declared non-Deep State unsung heroes. Unfortunately, the American people are not privy to the “right direction” that has been chosen by these “individuals”.
The mentioning of Senator John McCain’s death letter should be all anyone needs to determine that whatever these subversives are brewing is probably not anything the Constitution would recognize as lawful. As my grandfather always said, “If you’re a SOB when alive, you’re still an SOB when dead.” It goes the same with traitors, which Senator John McCain was and is.
There’s just enough fluff to try and reel in some Christians, conservatives and constitutionalists into buying this “snake oil” of some invisible force that will right the wrongs this force has determined as needing to be made right without once referencing the Constitution.
Naturally, The New York Times issued a disclaimer in order to deliver an “important perspective to our readers.” That is certainly a first. But, it does provide insight into what is happening “behind the scenes” only if what is being conveyed is true, accurate and factual. That is left for the reader to determine, but the Times gives a little nudge toward accepting this as true, accurate and factual by indicating the paper knows who the source is, what job that individual performs and vetted the individual. Unfortunately, another outlet cannot verify this because of the confidentiality of the source.
It would be a safe guess to say that whatever is happening inside the current administration, behind the scenes, and intimated by this “anonymous source” that cannot be verified will not fare favorably for the American people. Buyer Beware!
