Pakistan: Muslim Tortures Wife to Death for Not Giving Birth to a Boy
In Islam, women are commodities, the possessions of men. If men “fear disobedience” from them, they are to be beaten. This creates a culture of violence and fear, and leads to savagery like this.

A woman expired in a local hospital on Sunday six days after she was subjected to severe torture by her husband.
The victim was identified as Asiya, wife of Manzoor of Sattukatla village. Police said accused Manzoor had severely beaten his wife six days back over the issue of not giving birth to a baby boy. The injured woman was admitted to a local hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Police shifted the body to morgue for autopsy and registered a case against the murderer.
