Pat Miletich: Fighting Tyranny OUTSIDE the Octagon

Retired UFC Legend, Pat Miletich won many battles inside the Octagon. Now, Pat squares off with, perhaps, his toughest opponent…Creeping Government Tyranny

Fighting tyranny, to me, would seem to closely parallel fighting an opponent in the UFC. You take a measure of your adversary, you form a strategy and then you attack. Having never fought in the UFC, however, I can only speculate.

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Pat Miletich, UFC legend and Hall of Famer, has fought in the UFC; and, in fact, was a pioneer and World Champion in the sport, to boot. Fighting is in Pat’s genes, it would seem, so the battle he now faces against tyranny has thrust Pat into a familiar place. Pat joined Jason and myself LIVE on The Liberty Brothers Radio Show just after the first of this year for a wide-open discussion on a variety of topics including the New World Order and Police Militarization. Pat’s accomplishments are quite impressive, and you can learn more about him below.

There’s no denying the impact Pat Miletich has had on the sport of mixed martial arts.  A former UFC welterweight champion who also led Matt HughesJens Pulver, and Tim Sylvia to world titles as a coach, he is one of the sport’s pioneers, in and out of the Octagon, and today at the UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas, he will become the newest member of the UFC Hall of Fame.

So what was his secret? He always believed that his success could be boiled down to one thing: hard work.

“If you’re not willing to make your training harder than your fight ever could be, then you’re not going to end up at the top,” said Miletich.  “There’s a lot of times in my training when I’m ready to puke, and I’m ready to walk right out of the room, but you’ve just got to keep going.  I think that makes a difference, so you don’t mentally fold.”   Link to Original HERE
