The Pentagon’s top enlisted officer issued a threat Tuesday to the jihadis of the Islamic State that unless they surrender, they’ll be beaten to death with Army shovels.
The threat comes following a statement on January 1 from The Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve, in which they claimed that the Islamic State has lost 98 percent of its territory in Iraq and Syria.
Army Sgt. Maj. John Wayne Troxell, who is the senior enlisted adviser to the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, took to Facebook and posted his threat.
Using the hashtags #ISIS_SurrenderOrDie, #SEAC3, #DefeatDaesh, Troxell wrote, “ISIS needs to understand that the Joint Force is on orders to annihilate them. So, they have two options should they decide to come up against the United States, our allies and partners: surrender or die!”
“If they surrender, we will safeguard them to their detainee facility cell, provide them chow, a cot and due process,” he continued.
He followed that up with his threat that not only would they face death with shovels, but also being bombed and shot in the face.
ISIS needs to understand that the Joint Force is on orders to annihilate them. So, they have two options should they…
“HOWEVER, if they choose not to surrender, then we will kill them with extreme prejudice, whether that be through security force assistance, by dropping bombs on them, shooting them in the face, or beating them to death with our entrenching tools,” Troxell said.
Troxel concluded, “Regardless, they cannot win, so they need to choose how it’s going to be.”
It seems that Troxel, doesn’t want to let the snake slither away now that it is on the verge of being wiped out. I commend him for the fact that at least he gets what many politicians in DC don’t, and that is that you don’t win a war with diplomacy, but rather by actually defeating the enemy.
