The president called it spot on when he called out Elijah Cummings on the squalid, rat-infested conditions in Baltimore in his district. However, President Trump’s focus on the lousy conditions in Cummings’ district brings up a lot more questions about many other so-called Congressional representatives in many areas of the country as well. Mainly concerning billions of Federal dollars appropriated for improving these cities and the fact that most of these Socialist leaders have personally acquired millions of dollars during their time in office.

As President Trump pointed out recently, Cummings district has been given 16 billion in Federal grants in 2018 alone, yet his district reflects that of a poor area with little funds available for improvements and for the people of this area.

Cummings’ wife, Maya Rockeymore Cummings, is currently embroiled in scandal with various corruption activities from funneling money back to herself from donations to her charity, Center for Global Policy Solutions, to the IRS.

Neither Elijah Cummings or his wife has come from rich families, yet both are currently reportedly worth millions and possibly billions, if the truth were known.

The salary of all Congresspeople is set at $174,000 annually. One does not acquire millions of dollars from making $174,000 a year. The only way Cummings and many other so-called representatives become millionaires is mainly pocketing taxpayer money via various taxes from local to Federal level, Federal funding, various grants, and insider trading. Cummings also took in almost 2 billion in 2009 from the Obama stimulus money.

This is why we see so much money spent by governments of all levels and see absolutely no trace of it in improvements from roads to benefiting people on a personal level.

The state of California is a prime example of those in office ripping the people off blind. Here we have a totally Democrat-controlled government in charge of a state that has the highest tax rate on virtually everything of any place in the world. However, the total debt of California is into the trillions despite the hundreds of billions in income through various taxes and regulations.

This massive debt would not be possible with the income California has without government officials ripping most of the state’s income off for themselves.

This is also seen on a local level where Nancy Pelosi’s district, which includes San Francisco is littered with human feces on most of its streets, homeless people everywhere, syringes and needles scattered all over.

Pelosi’s net worth is 120 million.

Maxine Waters is another politician who got rich redirecting funds meant for the people and improvements within her district. Waters did not start getting rich until after she took public office for the first time in the early 1990s. This, while her district is so bad, and has been for years that she lives outside of the area she is supposed to represent in a 4.5 million dollar mansion.

The list of millionaires in office goes on and on and in each case, their districts are suffering from lack of funds. The dire situation of politicians ripping the people of their districts off blind has been exposed and the time to act is now.

What is clearly needed is getting rid of career politicians and put new people into office. The only way to achieve this is to have term limits. We need to enact law that specifically states that no elected official can serve more than 3 terms in office.
