Presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) called out the Trump administration for waiting to hear from their “Saudi masters,” as she put it, following Trump’s tweet that he was waiting to hear from the “Kingdom” as to “who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!” She said that the US being Saudi Arabia’s “B**ch” is not “America First.”
Gabbard is exactly right. As a veteran, Gabbard knows about war and she knows that America’s foreign policy has been awful.
Following the attack, or quite possibly false flag, President Trump tweeted, “Saudi Arabia oil supply was attacked. There is reason to believe that we know the culprit, are locked and loaded depending on verification, but are waiting to hear from the Kingdom as to who they believe was the cause of this attack, and under what terms we would proceed!”

CNN noted the “locked and loaded” language was very similar to the “cocked & loaded” language that the president used just before calling of an earlier bombing in Iran back in June.
Trump’s tweet, which appeared to raise the specter of a US military response, served to ratchet up tensions in a region already on edge after Saturday’s audacious attack on the Saudi oil field.
Trump used similar language in June when he announced he had called off an attack on Iran just as the US was “cocked & loaded” to strike because he decided it would cause too many deaths for a proportionate response to Tehran’s downing of a US drone.
Yemen’s Houthis, who are allied with Iran, claimed responsibility for the attack, which disrupted 5 percent of the world’s oil supply. Saudi Arabia’s state-owned oil company Aramco is one of the largest producers of oil in the world, with the kingdom being responsible for about 10 percent of the current daily global supply. The attack was carried out by drones, which set the kingdom’s oil fields ablaze.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blamed the attack squarely on Iran in a Saturday tweet, claiming that there was “no evidence” the assault came from Yemen, despite the Houthis taking responsibility.
“Amid all the calls for de-escalation, Iran has now launched an unprecedented attack on the world’s energy supply,” he wrote. “There is no evidence the attacks came from Yemen.”

Iranian officials dismissed the accusation, saying it was a “maximum falsification” and “maximum deceit” to blame Iran.
“In international relations, even ‘hostility’ [should have] a minimum degree of credibility and logical frameworks, but the U.S. officials have ignored even such minimum principles,” Abbas Mousavi, a spokesperson for Iran’s Foreign Ministry, said in a Sunday statement.
Saudi Arabia has been leading a coalition against Yemen’s Houthis since 2015, when the group ousted the country’s government. The U.S. has continued to support the coalition, despite significant bipartisan opposition in Congress, which has been blocked by Trump. The kingdom’s malign activities, particularly the grisly murder of Washington Post journalist and U.S. resident Jamal Khashoggi last year by Saudi agents, and the large number of civilian casualties, as well as an ongoing humanitarian crisis in Yemen, have led many Republicans and Democrats to oppose continued U.S. support for the Saudi-led coalition.
Graham was also in support of that bombing.
“Iranian supported Houthi rebels who attacked Saudi oil refineries is yet another example of how Iran is wreaking havoc in the Middle East,” tweeted Graham. “The Iranian regime is not interested in peace – they’re pursuing nuclear weapons and regional dominance.”
And America isn’t? What are we doing over there for decades, Senator Graham? Are we trying to pursue a form of “regional dominance”? Some would say that is exactly what we are doing.
“It is now time for the U.S. to put on the table an attack on Iranian oil refineries if they continue their provocations or increase nuclear enrichment,” Graham said.
Why? Weren’t these people the ones who funded and helped the 9/11 hijackers… or have you forgotten? Ooops, yes, me thinks he has forgotten.
Last year, she reminded Graham of this and a lot more.

Remember, last year it came out that the Trump administration was coming up with a plan for a regime change in Iran. Does anyone not think that didn’t include Saudi involvement?
While I can’t get behind Tulsi Gabbard for a number of things I find unconstitutional that she promotes, on her foreign policy and her stand even against those in her own party, I think she’s right on.
