“I am honored” –Bradlee Dean

About 3 months ago, our ministry center received a phone call requesting an interview from a man named Alan Keyes. What is of interest is that I already knew who Alan was because of the way that he righteously humiliated an abominable man named Barack Hussein Obama (Proverbs 17:15) when contending for the Senate seat in Illinois.

Little did I know the history of the honorable Alan Keyes.  Alan Lee Keyes is an American conservative political activist, author and former ambassador.

A doctoral graduate of Harvard University, Keyes began his diplomatic career in the U.S. Foreign Service in 1979 at the United States consulate in Mumbai, India, and later in the American embassy in Zimbabwe.

Keyes was also appointed Ambassador to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations by President Ronald Reagan, and served as Reagan’s Assistant Secretary of State for International Organization Affairs from 1985 to 1987; in his capacities as a UN ambassador, Keyes was involved in the implementation of the Mexico City Policy as well.

Keyes also ran for President of the United States in 1996, 2000, and 2008. He was the Republican nominee for the U.S. Senate in Maryland against Paul Sarbanes in 1988 and Barbara Mikulski in 1992, as well as in Illinois against Barack Obama in 2004.

Going now back to the request for the interview.

Before accepting the request, I knew the caliber and intellect of Alan Keyes and accepted the challenge quit readily (Laughing out loud -2 Timothy 4:2).

After doing the first interview, which was great, I was then asked for another interview, and the third time I was asked to be a regular on his television show. I have happily made myself available on request 5 shows later.

Friends, I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to have someone your senior with a Biblical and Constitutional perspective invite you into their world (Hebrews 13:7).

I wish there were more like him.

Alan, we are honored to be apart.
