Rep. Hank Johnson Speaks Lies & Deception At Atlanta Church – Church Pastor Supports Him

Racism is alive and well in the southern State of Georgia.  Before any Georgian gets upset to declare this statement false, take a look at some of the statements issued by Georgia Democratic Representative Hank Johnson during a pulpit speech at Atlanta’s Friendship Baptist Church, under the approval of Dr. Richard W. Willis, Sr.

The Washington Times reported:

Rep. Hank Johnson dedicated his pulpit speech Tuesday to drawing comparisons between Adolf Hitler and President Trump.

Marking the 156th anniversary of the implementation of the Emancipation Proclamation, Mr. Johnson warned black congregants at Atlanta’s Friendship Baptist Church to remain “diligent” against creeping tyranny by right-wing conservatives.

“Tyranny in the form of slavery has been the reality in this country before and we must be diligent to ensure it does not happen again,” the Georgia Democrat said.

“The Jewish people know a thing about tyranny,” he said. “Hitler did not start the Nazi Party, but he took over the party with charisma and leadership. The Nazis and Hitler became synonymous. Much like how Hitler took over the Nazi party, Trump has taken over the Republican Party. It’s now known as the Trump Republican Party.

“Americans, particularly black Americans, can’t afford to make that same mistake about the harm that could be done by a man named Hitler or a man named Trump,” he added.

Mr. Johnson also had some pointed criticism for Mr. Trump’s supporters, characterizing white conservatives as old and uneducated.

“Americans elected an authoritarian, an anti-immigrant, racist strongman to the nation’s highest office,” he said. “Donald Trump and his ‘Make America Great Again’ followers, who want to return America back to a time where white men and white privilege were unchallenged, and where minorities and women were in their place. These folks now control the highest office in the land.

“Donald Trump’s supporters are older, less educated, less prosperous, and they are dying early,” he added. “Their lifespans are decreasing and many are dying from alcoholism, drug overdoses, liver disease, or simply a broken heart caused by economic despair.”

Mr. Johnson later defended his comments that compared the president to Hitler.

“I wanted to make the point that our democracy is under severe threat, that freedom is threatened, and that if we are not vigilant we can allow tyranny to set in,” he told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. “I made the point that this threat to democracy is a trend across the world, and we can’t let this happen in our country.”

There is so much wrong with Johnson’s statements as well as with the pastor who allowed or promoted this charlatan to speak in a place of worship.  Let’s deal with Johnson and his statements first.

“Tyranny in the form of slavery has been the reality in this country before and we must be diligent to ensure it does not happen again.”

Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?

Bondage Slavery was a reality in this republic in the past, but it is alive and well today – human trafficking of individuals against their will for forced labor and sex.  Moreover, the entire government has created a population of “debt slaves” that no one in either chamber of Congress will acknowledge much less rectify.  By way of government force, money is stolen from the pockets of hard-working Americans to support unconstitutional agencies, unfettered unconstitutional spending and the welfare/warfare state, including militarization of law enforcement agencies.  Johnson is a little late on speaking against tyranny and certainly cannot see where tyranny already exists.

The Jewish people know a thing about tyranny. Hitler did not start the Nazi Party, but he took over the party with charisma and leadership. The Nazis and Hitler became synonymous. Much like how Hitler took over the Nazi party, Trump has taken over the Republican Party. It’s now known as the Trump Republican Party.

Johnson is stretching here, if not downright fabricating.  Trump has not taken over the Republican Party as Hitler took over the Nazi Party.  In fact, establishment Republicans and RINOs alike have worked to undermine Trump alongside Democrats since his election.  With Republicans holding the majority in the House and Senate before the midterms, no action was seen on the wall along the southern border, increase of border security, full repeal of Obamacare, defunding of planned parenthood, protection of the right to keep and bear arms, upholding of due process, and dealing with the illegal alien invaders already squatting in this republic just to name a few.  Spending certainly has not been curtailed to more constitutional limits and past and present criminals in our government remain free from prosecution.

Certainly, no one who is a Christian, conservative, constitutionalist would support any individual, regardless of party, who called for the murder or annihilation of a group of people based on some identified demographic.  In fact, it is Democrats and some Republicans who support the murder of millions through the baby murder mill run by Planned Parenthood.   Johnson should address this as a “Hitler-esque” type of behavior after eluding to tyranny against the Jewish people under Hitler’s Nazi Germany.

Johnson refuses to speak about the takeover of the Democratic Party by the Clintons.  He chooses to deflect on that by projecting the Clintons’ actions onto Trump.

Americans, particularly black Americans, can’t afford to make that same mistake about the harm that could be done by a man named Hitler or a man named Trump.

Hitler, after the death of German President Hindenburg, declared himself to be the supreme ruler of the nation of Germany.  The reason Hitler could do this was his establishment of the “brown shirts” and his “private military force” who killed off opponents in his own party as well as the opposition.  Moreover, Democrats, such as Johnson, refuse to acknowledge the increasing powers both chambers of Congress have allowed presidents, Democrat as well as Republican, to assume that are prohibited by the Constitution.  Johnson forgets the support given the “pen and phone” illegitimate occupant of the White House to legislate in place of Congress.  He likewise forgets the power to legislate that Congress has allowed the Supreme Court to usurp.

Americans elected an authoritarian, an anti-immigrant, racist strongman to the nation’s highest office. Donald Trump and his ‘Make America Great Again’ followers, who want to return America back to a time where white men and white privilege were unchallenged, and where minorities and women were in their place. These folks now control the highest office in the land.

Donald Trump’s supporters are older, less educated, less prosperous, and they are dying early. Their lifespans are decreasing and many are dying from alcoholism, drug overdoses, liver disease, or simply a broken heart caused by economic despair.

Anyone who reviewed Trump’s campaign platform during the 2016 election saw the “Make America Great Again” phrase referred to a return to government limited by the Constitution and principles and values contained in the Declaration of Independence.  It had nothing to do with race or the fictitious “white privilege” or putting minorities and women “in their place”.  While his campaign platform fell a bit short of those endeavors, it was a bold start to returning government to its constitutional tenets.  Unfortunately, Trump has fallen short in many of his campaign platform tenets to align with Democrats.

Calling Trump’s supporters as “older, less educated, less prosperous, and dying early” is pure supposition based on nothing more than his opinion.  So is his characterization of Trump supporters as alcoholics, drug users who overdose, and dying from such afflictions to include liver disease or “a broken heart caused by economic despair”.  If anyone is to blame for economic despair, look to number 44 and his cabal of Democrats and RINOs.

Johnson was right about one thing – our freedom is threatened;  but, it is threatened by over-reaching government, rule by “dominant minorities” and democracy.  In other words, representatives such as Democrat Hank Johnson threaten our freedom since Johnson supports tyranny in rejection of the counsel of God and teachings of Jesus Christ.  This man is a “die-hard” Democrat who worships at the altar of political platform and government supremacy in rejection of Christian principles, values and morals.

Now, let’s deal with the pastor of Atlanta’s Friendship Baptist Church, Dr. Richard W. Willis, Sr.  Pastor Willis would do well to remember the words of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him to have a heavy millstone hung around his neck, and to be drowned in the depth of the sea. (Matt. 18:6; Mark 9:42; Luke 17:2)

A pastor should know better.  This supposed “man of God” allowed an individual to enter a House of Worship to spew rhetoric that would cause the congregants to be offended by Jesus Christ.  By association, this pastor is encouraging congregants to be offended by Jesus Christ.  Dr. Willis is causing believers to stumble over the grace of Jesus Christ and God.  In order to achieve true freedom, one should remember, “Obedience to God is resistance to tyrants.”

Dr. Willis welcomes a supporter of murder, a deed that God forbids, to speak to his congregation a bunch of hypocritical rhetoric, outright lies, and accept deception over truth.  He is nothing more than a false teacher leading a congregation to damnation.   True believers would see this.  Unfortunately, the members of Atlanta’s Friendship Baptist Church do not or they would oust this false teacher out of the church by the seat of his pants, decry his ungodliness, and repent before the Lord.  They would then decry and denounce individuals like Democrat Hank Johnson for their hypocrisy and mocking of the Lord.  Yes, Willis can be called ungodly for his acceptance of Johnson into the church to spew lies and deception, instead of denouncing Johnson for his rejection of the teachings of Christ.  We are to know false teachers by their fruit.  Can anyone say that Willis’s fruit will be good when allowing Johnson’s lies and deceit to be spread?  Not hardly.

There are more problems in this republic than can even be covered in small articles such as this.  But, the answer to these problems is not more rhetoric, lies, deception and government over-reaching tyranny.  The answer is the agreement upon moral principles needed for a just, civil, righteous society.  The answer is truth.  With ungodly men like Dr. Willis heading many “churches”, supporting immorality, and fomenting lies and deception, the moral principles upon which a population should agree – the counsel of God and teachings of Jesus Christ, the goal post continues to move on what church leaders like Dr. Willis convey are moral principles, which often are against the Scripture.  This will continue to be detrimental to our republic and the people in it.
