Rep. Luna Threatens to File Assault Charge Against Code Pink – What A Snowflake!
Claims anti-war group has connection to Communist China.
Florida MAGA Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (née Mayerhofer) went ballistic after Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin brushed against her sleeve when the activist attempted to ask Luna a question about her support for Zionist war crimes. Following the overblown incident, the AIPAC-endowed rep threatened to file assault charges.
Nobody hit her.
Instead of answering for the war crimes she supports, this AIPAC-funded congresswoman continues to lie about activists. https://t.co/tIWMmzPHsl pic.twitter.com/nkVzfE30oI

Prior to the “assault,” Luna “questioned Secretary Rubio on Code Pink and their ties to the CCP,” the Chinese Communist Party. “Today, Sec Rubio confirmed what we’ve all suspected: foreign governments are actively using disinformation campaigns and influencer psyops to undermine our foreign policy and rip our country apart,” she declared. Rubio did not offer evidence.

Megan Russel, Code Pink’s China is Not Our Enemy Campaign Coordinator, wrote on March 26th, 2025, that Jim Banks, the junior AIPAC-lubricated senator from Indiana
sent a letter to Attorney General Pamela Bondi requesting that CODEPINK be investigated for our alleged funding from the Chinese Communist Party. According to him, our activism against the genocide in Gaza is antisemitic and undermines US-Israel relations, and therefore must mean we are acting on China’s behalf.
Luna singled out Neville Roy Singham, a businessman who started a consulting business with partners in the publicity department of the Chinese Communist Party. The New York Times did a hit piece on Singham in 2023, accusing him of working “closely with the Chinese government media machine and is financing its propaganda worldwide.”
The departments of Justice and Treasury are investigating “the Singham network, focusing on possible nonprofit law violations or foreign influence activities. To date, no one has been charged or found in violation,” the Vision Times News reported in March.
Regardless of the lack of evidence, Code Pink is operating as a “disinformation” agent for China and Cuba, Luna posted to X: “Look no further than Neville Roy Singham and the ‘left wing radical loons’ from Code Pink who are working with communists in China and Cuba. There is nothing organic about these destructive psyops.”
Luna and Banks, however, are apparently unaware of their hypocrisy. Both are involved in “foreign influence activities,” as they receive handsome donations from AIPAC (Luna received $27,289, while Banks took in $355,651). AIPAC avoids foreign agent status under the Foreign Agents Registration Act by claiming it represents the interests of the American people. Critics argue that AIPAC’s lobbying activities align with the interests of the Israeli government, resulting in accusations that it functions as a foreign agent.
The Middle East Monitor notes “as Israel carries out genocide in the besieged Palestinian enclave of Gaza, AIPAC retains pervasive influence in all quarters of US politics, leading a campaign to silence pro-Palestine voices and promote Israeli interests.”
AIPAC’s methods are direct and it “supports any candidate for Congress […] who is pro-Israel, and targets and punishes […] any candidate that is critical of Israel”, said Walter Hixson, a retired distinguished professor of history and author… “There’s nothing like AIPAC in American politics for any other country,” Hixson told Anadolu.
It should not come as a surprise that Luna would fabricate an assault. In 2023, The Washington Post ran a story examining her background. She alternated between calling herself Middle Eastern, Eastern European, and Jewish, PEOPLE magazine reported in 2023. Relatives said Luna’s father, George Mayerhofer, was Catholic, not Jewish, but Luna and her mother, Monica, said he converted to Messianic Judaism.
Luna claimed she came from a poor family, although she told fellow service members at Whiteman Air Force Base she wore designer clothing and mentioned having nannies as a child. Luna is now a MAGA Republican, despite previously supporting Democrat Barack Obama.
According to podcaster Stew Peters, Luna worked as a stripper at the Red Rose Gentleman’s Club in Fort Walton Beach, Florida in 2014. “Central Florida Post Editor Jacob Engels recently approached the former stripper regarding a police report indicating Luna worked at the club listed in Tampa, according to public records,” The Orlando Local News reported.
Finally, in 2019, Luna “assaulted” a Kamala Harris staffer during an altercation. Harris did not press charges.
