Revisiting Travon Martion: Poster Boy for the “Racism” Myth

Trayvon Martin cast himself a “gangsta.” Liars re-cast him as a “civil rights” martyr.

Feb. 5, would have marked the 21st birthday of the lost soul, shot and killed at 17 as he attacked neighborhood watch volunteer George Zimmerman in Sanford, Florida.

Had Trayvon’s parents not failed him, had he not viciously assaulted Zimmerman, he would be alive today – and he would not be poster boy for another myth propping up the illusion of “racism.”

Thousands of social media posts popped up in honor of the dead teen, including tweets from Bernice King, MLK’s youngest daughter. Bernice tweeted a photo of Trayvon in a hoodie, saying: “Thinking of #TrayvonMartin and his parents on today. He would be (and should be celebrating his 21st birthday).”

BET tweeted: “Happy Birthday Trayvon Martin! Your story sparked a movement and for that your name will live on! #BlackLivesMatter”

Michael Skolnik, a white board member of the Trayvon Martin Foundation, tweeted: “Trayvon Martin should have turned 21 today. His memory will always live in our hearts + in our movement for justice.”

These public figures know Trayvon was not innocent. They saw images of George Zimmerman’s bloodied face. They know Trayvon repeatedly smashed George’s head into the ground. They heard audio of George screaming for help. But they do not care about the truth.

Liberals exploit Trayvon’s death to promote selfish causes – Trayvon is merely a brand or a commodity. They use Trayvon’s name and likeness to raise money, get attention, raise their profile, appear relevant and promote popular myths that blacks are victims of “racism,” to brainwash angry black youth.

Trayvon’s death and Zimmerman’s acquittal reportedly sparked the #BlackLivesMatter movement – anti-white, anti-police agitators who “campaign against violence against black people” (only white or police “violence”). America-hating liberals like George Soros fund these political thugs, but the media and liberal politicians portray them as a new voice for “civil rights.”

Trayvon Martin and Black Lives Matter have nothing to do with “civil rights.” Scapegoating “racism” enables Trayvon’s parents to stay in denial about who’s really responsible for Trayvon’s death.

Trayvon’s mother, Sybrina Fulton, and his father, Tracy Martin, gave no love while he lived, but profit today from his death. They led the Foundation Peace Walk Saturday in Miami Gardens – joined by Mayor Oliver Gilbert III, rapper Luther “Uncle Luke” Campbell and other community leaders and elected officials. In the evening, old crooner and bitter black liberal Harry Belafonte spoke at a dinner commemorating the dead thug.

Jay Z’s music streaming company Tidal will donate $1.5 million to Black Lives Matter, the Trayvon Martin Foundation and other organizations for phony “social justice.” Jay Z’s wife, Beyoncé, released a vulgar propaganda song, “Formation,” on time to perform at Super Bowl 50. The raunchy video for “Formation” shows Beyoncé lying atop a sinking New Orleans police cruiser, a graffiti’d wall that reads, “Stop shooting us,” and a black boy in a hoodie dancing in front of police officers in riot gear. Just lovely!

Despite attempts to reface Trayvon’s image, his parents know they failed. They were too busy trying to gratify their own selfish desires than to be father and mother to him. Now that he’s dead, they want to pretend they loved him. The image of a young, happy Trayvon, which we’ve been shown on TV, is a lie.

As I write in my book, “The Antidote: Healing America from the Poison of Hate, Blame, and Victimhood”:

When Trayvon was three, his father, Tracy Martin, left the home. For the next 12 years, Trayvon spent most of his time at the home of Alicia Stanley, Tracy Martin’s second wife. When Trayvon was fifteen, Tracy left Alicia for a woman named Brandy Green, and Trayvon lost his home again. The boy was shattered. Alicia had been his rock. After the shooting Alicia was treated as if she did not exist … For the sake of the cameras, Tracy had to reunite with Sybrina Fulton, Trayvon’s birth mom. It made for a better image.

In the last two years of his life Trayvon shuttled between one house and another—his mother’s, his father’s, his uncle’s, Brandy Green’s in Sanford. A few months before he died, his mother exiled him after he had been caught fighting at school. “She just kicked me out,” he told a friend online. When the friend asked why, Martin answered, “Da police caught me outta skool.”

His friend said, “U a hoodlum.” “Naw,” replied Martin. “I’m a gangsta.”

No one in Trayvon’s family knew him well enough anymore to even notice his anger or his outlets for it — drugs, burglary, guns, truancy, and street-style mixed martial arts. It was only George Zimmerman who got to see the real Trayvon Martin.

The souls of black boys and girls are destroyed in black homes. To pretend children turn out bad through no fault of their parents, or to claim blacks are victims of “racism,” is evil. The weakness of black fathers, and the anger of black mothers, traumatizes black children and creates violent thugs who die violent deaths.
