Trump: Rod Blagojevich Was Prosecuted “Unfairly”? A Revelation Of The Mind & Heart Of This President, And It Is Not Good!

“For this president to say that he thinks that Rod Blagojevich was treated unfairly simply shows Americans the mindset of the politicians, and how they think that they are above the law.”

While this president has done nothing more than make empty promises to the American people when it comes to the prosecution of the corrupt inside and outside Washington D.C. (Proverbs 25:14), he delivers nothing more than gossip for the paparazzi to feast upon for their next headlines to merely entertain and appease their readers and viewers.

Allowing Criminal Politicians To Defy the Constitution Does Not “Make America Great Again!”

If it is not Joe Biden or Nancy Pelosi that Trump is “slamming” in the “circus of politics,” then it is Elijah Cummings, Ilhan Omar, Alexandria Ocasio Cortez, Ayanna Pressley or maybe MSNBC’s Donny Deutsch for the “Total sleaze” that he is; or how about former FBI Director James Comey, or perhaps Don Lemon as the “dumbest man on television,” maybe Robert Mueller, Emmanuel Macron, former president George Bush, Al Sharpton, Richard Blumenthal, Meryl Streep, Martha MacCallum, John McCain, Bob Woodward, Mr. Kellyanne Conway, Hillary Clinton etc. Does this somehow sound presidential to you? Me neither!

So, I do not fall to our posterity (For the record) as one that is buying what the mainstream media is selling (Proverbs 23:23), do remember that those who are allegedly attacking him are not being prosecuted; they are, in fact, being rewarded (Proverbs 17:15).

Those Attacking Donald Trump Are Not Being Prosecuted – They Are Being Rewarded!

Donald Trump does nothing more than just slam those that he should prosecute (Amos 5:7).  Of course, this is being done to merely keep the seats filled.

It is to keep his followers (Exodus 20:5) glued to the television in hopes that they will feel good about their president and appeased about what he is doing (Or not doing) while occupying the people’s White House.

Donald Trump has even slammed the US Constitution for the problems he has encountered during his first days in office by stating that the system of checks and balances on power are “archaic” (1 Peter 2:8).

Anyone paying attention to the fruit of this administration (Matthew 7:16) knows this to be a fact because Trump, like his predecessors, have found the law to be a stumbling block to further impede or prevent them from tearing down the US Constitution in hopes of creating one that looks just like themselves (2 Corinthians 11:14).

Now, let me address the disgraced former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, who the president said was unfairly prosecuted.  This should help Americans understand clearly the very heart and mind of Donald Trump (Jeremiah 17:9).

According to The Federalist last week:

President Trump said he was “strongly considering” commuting the 14-year prison sentence of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, who was convicted of 18 crimes, including attempted extortion from campaign contributors, corrupt solicitation of funds, wire fraud, and lying to federal investigators. Most notably, Blagojevich was found guilty of trying to sell President Obama’s vacated Senate seat for personal gain. Commuting Blagojevich’s sentence would be unwise, not only on the merits, but also as a matter of politics.

Opinions on Blagojevich are often based on an incomplete understanding of the evidence against him and the relevant law. The case against Blagojevich is far too voluminous for a single column. A brief recap will highlight some aspects not widely discussed outside Illinois.

In his first trial, Blagojevich was convicted only of lying to federal investigators about whether he considered campaign contributions when awarding contracts and appointments. The jury deadlocked on myriad counts.

Following a retrial on a more focused set of charges, Blagojevich was found guilty of three corrupt schemes. The first, best-known scheme involved Blagojevich’s appointment of a U.S. senator to replace then-incoming President Obama.

The feds had been tipped off about Blagojevich and were wiretapping his phone calls (he never contested the validity of the wiretaps). “I’ve got this thing,” Blagojevich infamously said on one recording, “and it’s [expletive] golden. And I’m just not giving it up for [expletive] nothing. I’m not going to do it.”

Notably, Blagojevich tried to “sell” the seat multiple ways. He sought various favors from Obama in exchange for appointing Valerie Jarrett: a cabinet appointment; a post-gubernatorial position at a foundation; or control of a new social justice group bankrolled to the tune of $10 million. Obama declined, prompting Blagojevich to rant, “They’re not willing to give me anything except appreciation. [Expletive] them.”

He then turned to supporters of then-Rep. Jesse Jackson, Jr., offering the appointment in return for a $1.5 million “campaign contribution,” although Blagojevich had already decided not to run for re-election. He broke off negotiations only upon learning of the wiretaps.

In the second scheme, Blagojevich’s intermediaries told lobbyists for Children’s Memorial Hospital he would approve an extra $8 to $10 million of Medicaid reimbursements in exchange for a “campaign contribution” of $50,000. He approved the rate increase, only to rescind it pending receipt of the kickback.

In the third scheme, Blagojevich’s intermediaries told a part-owner of two racetracks he would not sign a pending bill taxing casinos (for the benefit of racetracks) until he received a $100,000 “campaign” pledge. Blagojevich was arrested before he could sign the bill.

As I have already stated for or this president to suggest that Rod Blagojevich was prosecuted “unfairly” is simply a revelation of the mind and heart of this current administration, as well as this president, and it is not good.
