A retired Russian colonel and former defense ministry spokesman said the Russia has asymmetrical responses to the increase in the US military budget. Among those are nuclear “mole” missiles, which are alleged to “dig themselves in and ‘sleep’ until they are given the command” to detonate.
“The U.S. is the permanent ‘world champion’ in the size of its military budget – almost $600 billion, which is 10 times more than Russias. Even if we add together the military budgets of the top ten countries in the world, they would not reach the American budget!” said Russian military expert Viktor Baranetz, according to MEMRI, which cited an article titled “Trump-Pump-Pump and Our Big Bang” in Komsomolskaya. “Now it turns out that even that is not enough for Donald Trump. He intends to increase defense expenditure by $54 billion. This money would be enough to maintain five Polish armies. Or 10 Ukrainian ones.”
“The American public is already grumbling at Trump, who prefers guns to butter,” he continued. “But cunning Trump understands what his trump card is: He is ‘buying’ the support of the army, as well as of military industry corporations. Former Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Army Yuri Baluyevsky is certain that ‘the idea to increase defense expenditure was presented to Trump by the U.S. military, who argue a lot about the power of the Russian army, realizing this is an opportunity to get new money.’ But how will Moscow react to the growing military budget of the U.S.? Baluyevsky answers: ‘Russia will not compete with the U.S. in defense expenditure. We are in a different weight class. For us, the main question is how to ensure Russia’s defense at a lower cost. I am sure that we have already found asymmetrical responses. I don’t see a big problem here.'”
“What are these mysterious ‘asymmetrical responses’ that our politicians and generals speak about so often?” Baranetz asks rhetorically. “Maybe it’s a myth or a pretty turn of phrase? No! Our asymmetrical response is nuclear warheads that can modify their course and height so that no computer can calculate their trajectory. Or, for example, the Americans are deploying their tanks, airplanes and special forces battalions along the Russian border. And we are quietly ‘seeding’ the U.S. shoreline with nuclear ‘mole’ missiles (they dig themselves in and ‘sleep’ until they are given the command)[…]
“Oh, it seems I’ve said too much. I should hold my tongue,” he said. “In short, we have something to provide an ‘asymmetrical’ (and cheaper) response to the Americans. But if Trump has money to burn, let him spend it on weapons that the U.S. may never even need. And they say Trump is a good businessman…”
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the man who informed us that Hillary Clinton’s campaign team and advisors had met with the Russian ambassador during the election season, dismissed the claims. “This sounds strange, to say the least, and so I would suggest that you not take newspaper reports like this seriously.”
Well, I’m not sure if this is real or propaganda. However, considering that the Russian ambassador to the United Nations died in February at the same time a Russian spy ship trawled the east coast within 30 miles of the Naval Submarine Base in Groton, it would seem that we would at least be aware of whether or not this is true or false.
Global Geopolitics warns:
If you take this for a joke, you should really think twice about how you react, and consider the following facts:
First, when JFK was still alive, he mentioned during a dinner conversation to a reporter that the Soviets had a nuclear device at their embassy in Washington, DC, just blocks away from the White House. If relations turned sour, the United States would be decapitated in one blow.
Second, reading the book “Spetsnaz. The Story Behind the Soviet SAS” by the highest ranking Soviet defector during the Cold War, Viktor Suvorov, is a creepy eye opener which brings to light signs and indicators of how World War IV (III is the Cold War) will begin. If you want to jump right to it instead of reading the book in its entirety, you can save yourself time by reading the 15th chapter, “Spetsnaz’s First World War.” However, to understand how the 15th chapter came to this, you have to read the previous 14 give insight into how Russians think, how Spetsnazs are groomed and what mission(s) they’re on — and their ultimate goal: Toppling America.
While this certainly could be propaganda, with what we are hearing in the world of politics right now, it would seem that we would most definitely be taking this very serious. What do you think?
