The UN is dead. Utterly corrupted, it’s become the international arm for Islamic terrorism and Jew hatred. It is irretrievably broken and has been for decades. We should have withdrawn long before this. It poses a clear and present danger.
The UN is a terrorist organization that has abandoned the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and adopted the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights (sharia law). More on the Cairo Declaration on Human Rights in Islam (CDHRI).
Born in the ashes of World War II and established to ensure that a Holocaust would never happen again, the United Nations has not just horribly failed in its mission, it has become the very thing it was created to oppose and defeat.
Just as the League of Nations was dissolved because it failed in its primary purpose to prevent world war, the United Nations has failed in its primary purpose and should be dismantled. The United Nations “should cease to exist except for the sole purpose of the liquidation of its affairs.” They have devolved to an arm of the jihad force.
The League of Nations was established at the end of World War I as an international peacekeeping organization just as the United Nations was founded over seventy years ago in the wake of the Holocaust to ensure “never again.” Democracies, both nascent and well-established, comprised the majority of the founding nations of the UN. America was confident that the UN would be an organization that would work in tandem with American national interests in promoting the welfare of humankind and the basic rights of every human spirit.
It has become the very thing it was founded to defeat. They have failed the tortured, the oppressed, the poor, in incalculable ways. The graft and corruption are endemic to the institution.
We need a different organization. ‘The United Democratic Nations,” an organization of free nations, would be more rational. How can democracies and dictatorships co-exist in a world body successfully? They can’t. And so immediately the organization was destined to fail.
Senator Mike Lee Introduces Legislation to Withdraw US From United Nations
By Carter Staff Writer, February 21, 2025
Republican lawmakers have initiated the effort to withdraw the United States from the United Nations, citing concerns that the organization does not align with American interests, Fox News reports.
Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) has introduced the “Disengaging Entirely From the United Nations Debacle Act of 2025,” which aims to terminate U.S. membership and funding to the U.N. and its affiliated bodies. The press release states, “this legislation addresses grave issues of national sovereignty and fiscal accountability which have plagued US involvement in the UN.”
“No more blank checks for the United Nations. Americans’ hard-earned dollars have been funneled into initiatives that fly in the face of our values, enabling tyrants, betraying allies, and spreading bigotry,” said Sen. Mike Lee, adding that “if we engage with the UN in the future, it will be on our terms, with the full backing of the Senate and an iron-clad escape clause.”
Senator Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) is co-sponsoring the bill in the Senate, while Representative Chip Roy (R-Texas) is planning to introduce a similar measure in the House.
The lawmakers argue that the U.N. has become a platform for criticizing the U.S. and its allies. In a statement to Fox News Digital, Lee argued that “The United Nations has devolved into a platform for tyrants and a venue to attack America and her allies,” adding “We should stop paying for it. As President Trump revolutionizes our foreign policy by putting America first, we should withdraw from this sham organization and prioritize real alliances that keep our country safe and prosperous.”
The U.S. is the largest financial contributor to the U.N., providing over $18 billion in 2022, which constitutes approximately one-third of the U.N.’s entire collective budget.
