That Is The Message: 11 Women Lied While Ex-Governor Told The Truth – No Charges For Disgraced Cuomo

“Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.” -Martin Luther King Jr.

The purpose of government is to restrain men from sin (1 John 3:4), not to advocate it nor to transgress the law.  Yet, this is what is on display when it comes to what it is we see, and that on a daily basis.

Little by little, as the corrupt in this system of government display their lawlessness, they seem to think much of the fact that they are losing credibility from those that they are to serve, which in the end, weakens their authority.

What’s worse is that the American people know that they are guilty and yet, give them another pass only to suffer another abuse at another time (Isaiah 59:4-8).

How many scandals over the last 50 years alone have been exposed when it comes to the corrupt in this government? How many prosecutions?

There you have it!  In the end, it reflects what the people will tolerate and no wonder why these corrupt politicians do what they do because they are allowed to do it, and no one can then wonder why they think they are above the law (Isaiah 14:12-14).

Recently, Forbes reported:  Cuomo Cleared Again: Ex-Gov. Won’t Face Charges For Allegedly Harassing Women

Disgraced former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo will not face charges in Westchester County following allegations he harassed two women, making for the second time in less than a week that Cuomo’s been cleared of criminal charges by a local prosecutor.

KEY FACTS

Westchester County District Attorney Mimi Rocah said in a statement Tuesday that prosecutors investigated two claims of alleged misconduct by the former governor and determined them credible, but did not merit criminal charges.

Cuomo is accused in one instance of kissing a woman on the cheek who was working security detail at his Mount Kisco home, who said the former governor asked if he could kiss her and she responded “sure,” because she was worried about ramifications if she rebuffed him.

Cuomo also allegedly grabbed a woman and kissed her without asking permission at a West Plains High School event.

Last week, Acting Nassau County District Attorney Joyce Smith announced she would not bring charges after a state trooper claimed Cuomo ran his hand across her stomach, though Smith did call the allegations credible and “deeply troubling.”

CONTRA

Cuomo was charged in October with a misdemeanor sex crime in Albany County for allegedly groping a former executive assistant. He faces a January arraignment in the case.

KEY BACKGROUND

Cuomo announced his resignation as governor in August after New York Attorney General Letitia James released a scathing report documenting sexual harassment allegations by 11 different women. At the time, Cuomo was facing an impeachment probe and had lost support from essentially all of his former political allies, including President Joe Biden. Cuomo has repeatedly denied the allegations and slammed the attorney general’s report as a political hit. Cuomo is also facing a federal probe into his behavior in addition to state and local investigations.

In conclusion: There must be accountability from “We the People,” who are to establish justice when it comes to those that subvert our institutions (Psalm 12:8; Romans 12:21).  If not, without a doubt, this will continue to breed more crimes among those that are to uphold the law in keeping America free (2 Corinthians 3:17).
