Apparently, there’s a new breaking story in the form of another black activist who’s really white. This one, covered Wednesday by Breitbart, features prominent #BlackLivesMatter activist Shaun King, who is also a correspondent for the liberal Daily Kos website.
King has claimed for years to be biracial, but pretty solid evidence has surfaced confirming that the lad is 100 percent Caucasian.
Will this presidential election be the most important in American history?
On its face, this brings to mind the recent case of Rachel Dolezal, a former NAACP chapter president from the state of Washington who claimed to be black when in fact she was Caucasian. However, while there are strong indications that Dolezal merely has some bizarre self-image issues (she continues to insist that she’s black), it appears as though Shaun King not only aggressively promoted the radical left’s racialist agenda, but may have committed deliberate fraud.
The Breitbart story (which credits blogger Vicki Pate with the lion’s share of legwork leading to these revelations) reveals that King deliberately misled TV mogul and philanthropist Oprah Winfrey by pretending to be biracial, then received a Winfrey-subsidized scholarship to historically black Morehouse College on that basis.
As a vocal crusader against race-based police brutality, King became a darling of the liberal press. According to Breitbart, he has “written extensively” about a childhood in which he claims to have been “the focus of constant abuse of the resident rednecks of my school.”
I find this interesting considering Shaun King’s reported age is 35. Had these things actually occurred in the relative time frame, I suspect it would have been national top-story, front-page news for years afterward.
As the damning evidence mounts, it appears as though those things never did occur, including King’s account of his “brutal, racially-motivated beating” in 1995 that allegedly involved up to a dozen white racist students, but upon investigation wound up having been a shouting match between King and one other student.
Lest we become preoccupied with race here, let’s take a step back and analyze what we are really observing: a dishonest, liberal activist playing the diversity card in order to advance the left’s racial agenda and themselves in the process.
Aside from the dubious (and distracting) racial component: I’ve lost count of the dishonest, liberal activists out there, white, black and otherwise, who use the “diversity” issue to their advantage.
This isn’t a race issue; it’s a character issue. Those on the left have none.

Writing for Glenn Greenwald’s The Intercept this week, Juan Thompson pens a cerebral, if horribly biased, article on a new documentary about the Black Panther Party by black filmmaker Stanley Nelson. It’s a great movie review, but as one might infer from the above quote, Thompson dishonestly applies extinct analogues to the circumstances blacks face in present-day America.
Citing the #BlackLivesMatter campaign, Thompson attempts to draw parallels between the institutional programs of civil repression perpetrated against blacks during the Civil Rights Movement and the cases of Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, Eric Garner and Freddie Gray.
The common denominator is that this oppression was committed against blacks by white police officers. Thompson conveniently omits the fact that Brown, Garner and Gray were actively engaged in criminal activity when they were contacted by police. This underscores an aspect of the hypocrisy integral to leftist racial orthodoxy: Blacks can’t be held accountable for antisocial behavior today based upon the injustice of conditions that ceased to exist 50 years ago.
In the case of Trayvon Martin, one may recall that George Zimmerman (who fatally shot Martin in 2012) was not only not a police officer, he was not even white. Zimmerman self-identified as Latino and very definitely looked the part, yet he continues to be characterized by the left as a white supremacist.
For 50 years, the left has been using America’s admittedly shameful history of institutional racism to maintain a deportment of antisocialism among blacks, particularly those of lower-income who live in urban areas. This attitude is intensified exponentially with regard to authority figures such as the police.
I expect that Nelson’s Black Panther film will be used to feed that fire, whether Nelson intends it or not.
All roads seem to lead back to Marxism. Let us not forget that while the New Black Panther Party may be comprised of posturing thugs, the original Black Panther Party was Marxist to the core. Many have expounded upon the informal coalition that exists today between American Marxists and Islamists. Rank-and-file liberals, who blindly countenance illegal immigration and the so-called “gay rights” agenda, are likewise contributing to that synergy and aiding Marxist ascendancy.
Our mindless pursuit of this obscure yet apparently sanctified value of diversity negates our better judgment, corrupts our moral foundation, empowers our enemies and has imbued the left with an unprecedented level of power. They perpetuate the lie of a white supremacist America, and they demand our silence as Islamists, militant homosexuals and parasitic invaders from a host of culturally bankrupt latrines run roughshod over us.
The idea is that the left will shortly reduce Americans to a state of incohesive, incoherent, self-absorbed disarray, incapable of any decisive, coordinated action toward preserving our eroding liberties.
All of this consigns “diversity,” such as we understand it, to the status of an evil doctrine, a diabolical tenet of the dark Marxist creed. Like its proponents, it must be abrogated, neutralized, destroyed – utterly nullified as legitimate, desirable public policy.
