In the days of Christ, an Ekklesia (translated Church in English), was a political, judicial and government term. It was a political assembly of citizens of an ancient Greek state. It refers to a convening of citizens to discuss legal matters and handle the administrative affairs of government. It was a place of legal counsel. It referred to those who had the final say in what is lawful and what is not lawful. If you have a video in which you are confronting a government or other legislative body and would like it showcased in our “Ekklesia in Action” Project. Sends your name and video link to [email protected].
